10 years of FIF
CL run allows us to not sell during THIS season, meaning the fiscal year ending in June. July is a new fiscal year starting and Zhang probably demands sales like last summer.Thing is with the CL run we might not need to sell any big players... I know not sustainable but ideally we replace the likes of Gags/correa/Skriniar/Lukaku with cheaper options and bring down costs that way. Let me say it this way i think it would be easier to replace these guys adequately while also cutting costs than brozo.
Also I d much rather sell dumfries if the rumors are true...
Yeah but, hopefully we get some new sponsorship deal for next season and hopefully we manage to cut down costs of the squad for next season..CL run allows us to not sell during THIS season, meaning the fiscal year ending in June. Yes but remember how we started this discussion removing brozo s contract and replacing it with a smaller contract will have an impact but probably a lot smaller one as brozo has 0 ammortization costs or lets say very fucken close to 0, so the moment we pay a transfer sum for who ever replaces brozo we negate a lot of that cost set off say we get a player for 20 mios on 5 years that would add 4 mio in amortization costs so the player would have to earn atleast 2 mio less than brozo for this to be a cost saving move...Capitalize on kids is one thing, that will bring our losses down for the given fiscal year (as well as selling roster player for big profit like Dumfries, Onana etc). But cutting costs like salaries will bring down the losses aswell but they are not one-off thing. Removing Brozovic contract and replacing it with a smaller contract is more long-term fix. Just as an example.
But this is an endless circle anyway. Let's say that Brozo's amortization is 0 and we sell him for 35 mln. Then we get 35mln capital gain and get rid of his salary , which is about 12 mln gross. We have Asllani and Hakan for his spot, so we can go after a CM instead. If we get let's say Frattesi for 30 mln, with 2.5 mln net salary for 5 years contract, this will be 6 mln amortization + 5 mln gross wage = 11 mln total. It's more or less the same, but the age of the squad will be reduced and we'll catch the last train of cashing on Brozo. Then if we replace Gagliardini with free agent Peryera for same wage, we'll have very solid midfield for next 2-3 seasons ahead.Yes but remember how we started this discussion removing brozo s contract and replacing it with a smaller contract will have an impact but probably a lot smaller one as brozo has 0 ammortization costs or lets say very fucken close to 0, so the moment we pay a transfer sum for who ever replaces brozo we negate a lot of that cost set off say we get a player for 20 mios on 5 years that would add 4 mio in amortization costs so the player would have to earn atleast 2 mio less than brozo for this to be a cost saving move...
Hard to imagine for me that we get a player for 20 mio who comes anywhere near brozo in terms of performace..
Yeah again for me saving 1 mio on fratesi is not worth getting rid of brozo especially if next season we are at the same point even with fratesi...But this is an endless circle anyway. This reminds me a bit, when last season people didn't want to sell Skrinar, because they thought that Bremer is downgrade and the difference in the fees is a very narrow {which is true in some extent). Then, we lost Skriniar for free. Brozovic still is classy but he is over 30, he gets injured more often and the downs in his performance are bigger than before. If some team offers 35 mln now, maybe it worth to get them, instead to lose him for free after 2 seasons, or him being relegated to bench player due to inconsistent form and injuries. You miss the moment, that his sale will fund a purshace of younger player and will reduce the salaries bill. If we invest the money wise, the new player will also command a hefty fee if we decide to sell him later. Of course, there is a chance to fucked up everything, similar to Correa transfer.Yeah again for me saving 1 mio on fratesi is not worth getting rid of brozo especially if next season we are at the same point even with fratesi...
Imho we have enough deadweight to cut down cost also not sure what aslani has done to be considered a decent replacement for brozo (and i like the guy) when it comes to rejuvenating the squad chances are that most playing time from brozo goes to miki next season so the average age of our starting eleven would probably increase...
Again if a crayze offer comes in by all means sell him but imho that would have to be a lot closer to 50 than 35
Skriniar was a huuuge fuck up by the mgm... and maybe some fuckery from skriniars sideThis reminds me a bit, when last season people didn't want to sell Skrinar, because they thought that Bremer is downgrade and the difference in the fees is a very narrow {which is true in some extent). I meant that, there is some level of uncertainty which should be considered. Brozo already showed some signs of declining. If he gets more injuries next season and again he has difficulties finding his form, there won't be potential buyers, and people will be angry that we missed the chance of selling him.Skriniar was a huuuge fuck up by the mgm... and maybe some fuckery from skriniars side
Nobody would have said we should not sell him for 50 mios if we knew that he would refuse any contract offer from us so that he can sign on a free with PSG.
I even expected him to sign a new deal even if he wants to leave like icardi did just cause i though he did not want to fuck us over like he did.
Fuck if Brozo aint renewing unless we offer him 10 mio per season by all means ship his ass of to th highest bidder.. If he s ready to sign for something like 6 to 7 mio i m not so sure about that.
What are you talking about ? Brozo renewed year ago in similar case where Skriniar was now. He was heading to free agency but wanted to stay, so he stayed.Fuck if Brozo aint renewing unless we offer him 10 mio per season by all means ship his ass of to th highest bidder.. If he s ready to sign for something like 6 to 7 mio i m not so sure about that.
6-7m for Brozovic is way too much. Sorry, this is the reality. Our wage bill is too high for our revenues, not to talk about about the mountain of debt we stay on.Skriniar was a huuuge fuck up by the mgm... and maybe some fuckery from skriniars side

Problem was losing the ball at the backApart from assist, he didn't have so good game. He ruined some decent attacks.
I don't know if it's him not playing enough, so he isn't so in sync with the team or is it just him slowly becoming worse?Apart from assist, he didn't have so good game. He ruined some decent attacks.
EpicBrozo tonight. He must play as a starter in the final. You can't leave a player of his calibre in the bench.
