Unpopular opinion: Napoli hasn't proven shit yet.

Their group in CL was relatively easy. Liverpool is complete garbage this season and it doesn't seem like they are getting their shit together but however in the league Napoli is doing fantastic, which still doesn't impress me as "team of Scudetto". Their game vs Milan wasn't as dominant as one could expect considering their standards this season, besides they were lucky as hell to espace from San Siro with a win.

I won't even mention the other teams like Atalanta for example, because they were never a real threat. Some of you may write Juve off already, but that's way too premmature because they are capable of defeating Napoli like you cannot imagine. Why? Because we have all seen the earlier episodes of how a team like Napoli can collapse all of sudden, and a team like Juve can bounce back and pull a 10-win streak.

It may sound overly optimistic but it wouldn't be shocking if we go on and defeat them. We are playing very well lately and also the improvements are obvious. Things would have been completely different by now, had we taken the matches in a different approach from the beginning.

We should kept him, now we are stuck with fucking arhaic 3 5 2 .
For him to come back, we needed to completely change the team again and get him his wingers. Inter dont have the money for that, so Inzaghi was the obvious choice.

I dont want him back now. We should've hired top coach that doesnt play this shitty system with back 3. Now after Skriniar's gone we are pretty fucked cause we always need that one extra cb.

Lets wait and see guys.. He s done great at Napoli but I still suspect he might get in a fight with one of his star player cause things are going to good and fuck up the season...

Also no we should not want him back, spalletis problems has always been handling big egos (totti, Icardi, De Rossi) not sure that got better.

He had two full seasons, we got him radja that he desperately wanted and he was fucking shit and cost zaniolo too, but we were dreadful in his second season. We were so so bad to watch. Empoli, already relegated, should have beat us on our last match day to knock us out of champions league qualification.

Appreciate him getting us back to CL but obvious both parties were better off separating. I still like him though.
You are saying Spalletti and even Pioli were terrible while we see they are doing great. Pioli got trpohy and Spalletti is doing the same.
The money we spent on Conte is not comparable to him or anybody else. I think we are like the one who put the the blame on the others. I guess we would haven't gone anywere even with Coaches like Kloop or Guardiola either, if they would have that squad.

My point is I'm not fan of Spalleti or Pioli or anybody else, I'm just saying we should provide suit resource and give the appropriate time to coaches we choose otherwise we can fire every coach after like a couple of seasons and put all blame on them, like an infinite loop.

That's the reason I didn't like conte, because of him, we had to change our formation and ever since the disadvantages have been dominated and now it costs a lot to rebuild the team for 4231 or 433 formation again or maybe we should choose only 3-5-2 choaches like Inzaghi for ever. :cautious:

True but he was right though.

Totti was at the end of his career and expected to be considered a star , Icardi we all saw what happened to his career so i would actually praise Spalleti for having the balls to say things how they are.
Nevertheless people learn from their mistakes and if he manages to win the league with Napoli it will show that he has learned to manage a team at the top and be a great boost to his confidence and probably put him on a map for a premier/spanish league top team not for '5 euro mercato' inter

Spalletti didn't have issues with Icardi for the most part, he had issues with some other players and Icardi called him out for that in front of the whole team that he was playing favorites. I guess they ended up clashing after the captaincy thing, but until that decision, Spalletti rated Icardi and was using him. It's more like he lost the locker room than clashing with one player, in the sense that we had 2-3 cliques and he enabled it.

Totti was not used much and wanted to see out his final season as a starter. Don't think Roma had locker room issues. They had more issues with the management and ownership than the coach.
