I don't have a good feeling of Spalletti. Here at Inter, only coaches with defensive DNA, balls and tactics have succeeded and were consistent in those (Cuper, Mancini first stint, Mourinho). When was the last time an attacking coach here was consistently good for even one whole season??

I agree but how many attacking coaches there even have been lately? We all remember Leonardo and he did well for that short time. Maybe it isn't impossible to succeed here with attacking minded coach. I think that having a strong character and coach who has respect by his players and management is more important thing.

Spalletti has a better/longer track record of success. He's finished 3rd and 2nd in consecutive years. Pioli finished 3rd and then promptly got sacked mid-season by Lazio, and sacked mid-season by Inter
