Why haven’t we unveiled the away kit yet? From what I understand Digitalbits has something to do with it, but why can’t we just play without a sponsor? Can anyone elaborate?
Typically these sponsorship deals include a certain level of promotion by the club that is required. When we release the kit we'll be contractually obligated to do certain things in the release to promote DigitalBits. This even includes social media posts. We don't want to complete those activities given they haven't paid us yet.

There's also a chance that we're trying to prevent Nike from having to mass produce a bunch of kits with a sponsor that we won't be able to sell. I'm less familiar with the logistics of printing kits, though.

I'd assume Nike have produced already those away kits, at least an initial batch. AFAIK Nike's "pipeline" with kits is long as fuck ie. you need to have the order done months earlier. Could be different with top clubs but I'm quite sure Nike has already produced some of those away kits.

Transfer Guru
So we've signed a hardcore Inter an 23 year old RV, resigned our best striker since etoo imho, signed a hot young prospect aged only 20 who is showing to be potentially at the first team level already, and you think nothing exciting has happened???

I think we are still a de vrij replacement and a spare striker short, but this has been a solid transfer window so far

Love your optimism bro. I wouldn't judge this window until it shuts. My biggest problem with this window is not about missing out on key targets or that we haven't done reasonably well under tight circumstances so far, but the constant dread of having to sell one of our key players. This summer has been like living with a axe hanging over your neck the whole time, not knowing when it will drop. Bastoni, Skriniar, Brozovic, Barella... constant rumours about them being targeted and in our heart we know that Suning will fold easily to a big offer. So I'm sorry if I don't share your optimism yet.

There is also the other thing - that feeling of regret remains that we did not build upon the momentum of 2020-21 to usher a new golden era. We were so close to Il Grande Inter III, the hard work was done. All we needed was to support Conte, Marotta & Co with normal mercato funds for a club of our pedigree every summer. And Suning let us down badly.

as i said, if we lose a key player, then the whole thing changes, but as it stands right now, this is a pretty solid mercato. 7/10

We missed Bremer as the main target but even that would have MOST PROBABLY meant selling Skriniar. We haven't bought anyone after Bremer debacle so it's pretty clear we would have sold someone big in that case. Dybala was never a main target after we signed Lukaku which became higher priority target than Dybala.

This living under the fear was and is real, but has nothing to do with the performance of the mercato. The actual stuff happening. It's just fans fearing we lose someone big. @.h. states it well, when the things change, analysis changes, but it doesn't make sense to make analysis for something which hasn't happened.

Match day is 2 days away. Going back 15yrs the average number of points needed to secure 4th was ca.69 pts. However, in the past 5yrs the average pts needed to achieve 4th was ca.73 pts. In 2020 and 2021 it was 78 pts.

If the goal is to get a CL spot, Inter can ill afford to drop points especially to a new side to the table.
Looks like Inter better start with a win and get those 3 pts. I think they'll do it, but since it's away and its Inter it probably won't be easy.

People think we could have signed Bremer without sacrificing Skriniar lmao, where the fuck was the money gonna come from? If we had to choose I'm glad as FUCK we kept Skriniar.

The living under fear was mostly due to shit reports running around. We were 100% sure Bastoni and Skriniar would have been sold but here we fucking are. I still stand that we are still in a great shape to be the contender for Scudetto

I mean are people really thinking we might not get top four? Who could possibly finish above us, Napoli? They’ve sold the entire heart of their team. We will easily get top four and we’re still good enough to push for the Scudetto. Regardless, this transfer window has been abysmal. If Lukaku didn’t force his way here it would’ve been disastrous. I don’t trust Dybala alone to stay healthy.
