Gila getting injured quite early didn't help either.

I agree with this. I only watch first half. But after Gila got subbed out, Inter's attack seems more flowing and Lazio's defence are cracking. Just look at Dimarco's goal...

We're lucky the referee gave us a penalty there. I think he should've given a free kick to Lazio after Lautaro kicked a Lazio player in the head, it was horrible to watch

Not sure if you're being sarcastic or serious? Otherwise, PK couldn't get any more valid. That was an intentional handball on Dumfries' header. Probably he would score it on first attempt, hadn't guy deflected the ball with his arm.

I feel bad for the guy Lautaro kicked in the head. I thought the ref would definitely give a free kick to Lazio. Handball coming first did us a favor.

There was no favour at all. It was correct decision to give Inter a PK. You can feel bad about the guy, but the decision was correct. Besides, I think the guy was being a lil too dramatic because he realized what's coming. These teams from Rome are a bunch of cunts, both of them actually. I'm glad we've shown their place.

The handball happened before the Lautaro's kick. In no world a ref would choose the second incident before the first one.

Finally got around to watching the game and holy crap that was better than sex.

I'm just gonna point out that this Lazio side were equal on points to us coming into this game, 10 wins in 15 games in Serie A, and an almost flawless home record this season. 6-1-0 at the Olimpico this season in Serie A. Further, they just beat Napoli away in their last game coming into this game, so they showed some clear credentials for being a team that can give anybody at or above them in the table some trouble.

First 30 minutes be whatever they were, the final result was an absolute smackdown. We beat the absolute shit out of them.

The credentials of this team and the potential of this team are beyond reproach. Whether we'll achieve our goals is another matter, but this is Italy's best team. This Inter is only getting better the more experience these guys have playing together. The Scudetto is ours to lose, and if seeing these guys batter Lazio 6-0 on their field isn't enough to give confidence that these guys won't lose it, I dunno what else they can do. Early season missed opportunities are what they are but we can't fix them now, we can only try to be better from them and we're doing that right now.

14 different unique goal scorers, and behind Thuram and Lautaro we have five guys who have scored three goals apiece, 15 goals from Hakan, Dimarco, Barella, Dumfries, and Frattesi. That kind of depth is priceless. We have guys from everywhere on the field who can pop up and deliver goals. Just imagine if Lautaro does ever get going this season...

Christ that was fun. I shouldn't have waited two days to watch it!

Guy that replaced him also got replaced at half time or something so their whole defense was screwed up.
Also was amazing to see Acerbi's friend Marusic get completely roasted and shit on. Another highlight we never really mentioned.

If Lautaro kick would hv been much more serious, like a red card agresssion, still would be PK for us and yellow/red to our player afterwards for the agression, but it wasn't.

This

and when Zanetti retired.

and when we needed a win to get out of the banter era.

Lazio do seem to be the most significant club in Inter's history

While rewatching the highlight i was thinking that this is one of the best Inter victory that we have seen in the recent time, probably also the best of the season till now. You can argue that Lazio was crumbling after the first two goals but the players were ready to punish them, they made the best to make profit of it. The goals were not just Lazio mistakes, we have shown greate quality on every opportunity. They made look every goal simple but it wasn't. Things could look diffrent if Dimarco or also Barella didn't scored that 3.goal. Maybe we were talking about a close victory or even a draw, you never know. But fact is that the goals were not simple. We outclassed them and i hope to see more of it! This is how we face big games, not like against Juve and Milan. With this mentality we would have scored 7 goals against Juve.
