i think he would play better if we played a better system rather than 352

i know we lack wingers but 3412 or 4312 are better options

A 7-0 rout and he can not get on the scoresheet: Inter players playing well below par.

We are so reliant on offense through lautaro when he loses form we absolutely suck because none of our other forwards can create goals

In Ronaldo era Benzema was serious misfire guy, after Ronaldo he scores everything.

Maybe Lautaro will also do the same after 30 :yao:

Lautaro is going through a bad form, but where do you guys get this "he's a striker who scores only against bottom teams" from? He has scored against top quality sides of CL, also tends to show brilliance even against top sides of the league.

There's matches where he was complete garbage, but he's by no means a poor player or someone who can't get shit done like you guys overreact.

I do hope he will bounce back and regain his form for the upcoming matches because we are still chasing both competitions and we can't let the top4 slip away.

Agreed. Lautaro never struck me as a small-game or a big-game player. He's had great games against both good teams and weaker ones.

Even in the CL where he's gotten criticism for not scoring much - he only has 3 goals in the last 3 seasons, but they were actually against the biggest teams we faced - Real Madrid, Liverpool, and Barca - all away games. Meanwhile, he failed to score vs. Sheriff, Plzen, and Shakhtar, so it's not about the strength of the opponent.

At the end of the day, he's still by far our best attacker in my opinion. Since the Napoli game, I believe all our wins in Serie A had Lautaro scoring (Verona, Cremonese, Milan, Udinese, Lecce). The problem is that no other attacker has stepped up for us in 2023 and we are already in April (only exceptions being Dzeko vs. Napoli and Lukaku vs. Porto).
