I've grown to dislike the term work rate almost as much as xG and all other cancer about modern football
The worst terms of them all is "link up" and "hold up".

I like Lautaro so I don't feel like I'm hating on him, I'm criticizing him. Some of the misplaced passes yesterday were mindboggling.
I don't care if he scores goals or not, as long as Inter plays good football. ATM Lautaro is just another problem in the huge clusterfuck that is Inzaghi's Inter.... and I understand that it's not Lautaro's fault if he doesn't get enough of the ball, but it is his fault what he does with the ball.
Lautaro looks worse to me in CL than Serie A. Like I said, that's my opinion of him. I don't know if it's nerves or something else.

I want him to not fuck up easy passes or be better at holding the ball. Sometimes it feels like Lautaro is a 17 year old player, not a player that is entering his prime.

I dont give a fuck how much passion he shows or how much he runs around in the champions league. You're our most payed player and our main attacker. Scoring 1 goal per season is pathetic.

He’s in that period of form, and I’ve accepted he’s always going to have these.

Give it till after the international break, he’ll bang another 6/7 goals to close out the season.

Once in a while he will score in big games, once in a while he will score a world class goal, once in a while his goals will bring us coppa or supercoppa...But it happens only once in while and thats his major problem. Lautaro is basically Limone of strikers.

It's crazy because his second season with us he fucking banged 5 goals out of 6 games in CL.

Anyway, at this point of the season all I care is winning. We could play like shit for 93 minutes as long as we score on the 94th min and win, that's all that matters.

Limone (lol) was a striker himself.

Lautaro
He wasn't supported/was ignored on at least 3 occasions in the match against Porto.

1. Barella preferred passing the ball to Dzeko when we caught them 3 against 2. Dzeko did well, no complaint, but the fact is Lautaro was slightly in a better position than Dzeko.
2. When Lautaro stole the ball and run forward, Barella just watched him and didn't run forward to support him although they both were very close to each other.
3. Lukaku didn't pass the ball to Lautaro when the latter was free from two defenders, instead, he shot the ball which was blocked by defenders.

We all noticed that Barella's form declined and I think part of the reason is, he stopped assisting Lautaro like he used to do last season. I just hope there isn't some beef going on between the two.

Absolutely fucking disgraceful tonight
His first touch was pathetic. Thought he had improved that aspect of his game.

Hopefully it's just a one ff

Probably the worst performance since joined Inter. He did everything wrong. At times was also completely off and there was absolutely zero fighting spirit. Should have been subbed out right after first half.

Our subs were inexistent as well, both Correa and Dzeko were useless but Lautaro was shocking. I didn't expect this from him.

Limone is also an idiot to take out Lukaku. I'm trying to make myself thinking that his physical condition isn't ready yet for a 90min match, otherwise that had no explanation. Lukaku was our only hope tonight.

It`s tipical. 3-4 good games, then all off sudden he becomes useless again. What is he's problem?
He's just not a "superstar" that can carry a team, of course it doesn't help that for the most part his fellow players aren't up to the challenge either. He's decent player with just glimpses of excellence. Imagine if we didn't have him the squad where would Inter be? Probably struggling for Europa league position and that still might happen

He's just not good enough. Time to accept it. Unfortunately we have no other options.

People get suckered in by the good performances, but a top striker doesn't perform whenever he feels like it.

What makes you say it was Lautaro's feeling which blocked him from performing yesterday?

Durante a festa da Argentina no primeiro jogo após o Mundial'2022, Lautaro Martínez pegou no microfone e pediu um minuto de silêncio pelo Brasil, grande rival, e pela França, que venceu na final, que "estão mortos".

Lautaro leading a 'minute silence for dead Beazil and France' song.. also looks like an idiot with that mic

Now lets sign that Thuram boy and some new loud Gabigol flop to put some balance in the locker room
