It seems like the wrong option but it's because it didn't go in but in that position, a striker is always going to go for the goal imo.
True but there will be questions asked if you miss when you have a better option open.

Regardless, he still hit it with all the force of a 6 year old. Regardless of the angle or defenders or whatever it was unconvincing as hell. Should've smashed it.

Thankfully he made up for it by scoring his best goal to date a few minutes later.
Honestly I am not sure at this point if Universe is really shitting on Lautaro, cause the most complain I read from him is Lautaro just smashes it, and obviously Lautaro wasn't blindly smashing it this time, he was trying to place it to the bottom left corner with the force of a 6 year old.

He probably took the wrong option there. Denzel was in a better position.

Look again at the replay and notice Alison's positioning. He couldn't have stopped lautaros shot from where he was, he deserves full credit for that. It was definitely the right call.

Unless you're referring to the miss earlier, which I think you might be. Oops.

The problem here is Lautaro hit it with the force AND accuracy of a 6 year old.

No wonder he always smashes it blindly. When he tries to shoot it proper, that kind of scuffed shot happens.

Great goal though. Man of the moment. Hope he carries this form through.

Not referring to the goal. Referring to the other chance that he put wide.

That pace is a joke, even on a special card like this. Other than that, well deserved.

Lmao you should see the other juiced up cards
Team of the week ones are mostly pretty normal. But yea, some of those other special cards are just insane. Still sucks that if u wanna be good, you just need players with 90+ pace and you re set. Not much skill needed.

Inter did a great job at selling both Icardi and Lukaku, both of whom were just aimless after leaving. On the face of it, the sale of Lautaro should be pretty great financially for Inter with a lot of plusvalenza.

Lukaku for Icardi was a masterpiece imo (I know many disagree) and not properly replacing Lukaku was mainly due to finances/Suning being still here. Replacing Laturo's goal scoring record is not as hard to replace as Lukaku's, so on that front this sale could also be beneficial.

My main fear is that he'll explode somewhere else, but I guess a lot of money could ease the pain.

Don't have one.

Don't think he is exploding anywhere tbh, spain or england may suit him better, he may improve his goal scoring record which is pretty fixed in seria a right now, but he is just too meh in many departments to become a world-class player.

By the age of 25 in potential world-class players you usually see at least one area where they excel, but he is kinda jack of all trades master of none and even there he shows huge inconsistencies.

Another awful match. This guy can't get past a stick. He has no speed, can't dribble, can't pass, can't finish. Sell him to any idiot who offers anything close to 70m.

Dzeko is fucking awful, but I always wonder who does dzeko get in these spaces and lautaro doesn't.
