That would be amazing if it’s just Udinese and Milan. But it doesn’t seem like anyone knows too much about his recovery time right now though so we’ll just have to hope for the best.

In a way it’s fortunate so many injuries are occurring before the National team matches and not afterwards as the players get a chance to rest up. As long as they’re not the long-term kind.

Many players play with some kind of discomfort and pain in many matches through the whole season. It doesn't always lead to lengthy injuries, but it can appear any time. With too many matches to play, it only intensifies the injuries. Hopefully it's nothing serious for Toro, and he'll be back soon. I think we can take Udinese with Thuram and Correa and Arna upfront.

Lauti probably gets rested for Udinese either way. Would ideally like to have him for Milan but Arna/Correa are fine. We really need him for Bayern since Correa cant play.

Any news on his injury yet? And what about Thuram? Would be a horror scenario to start Taremi, Arnautovic, Correa against Udinese.

Just started watching this. It's Lautaro reminiscing about his goals.

Starts crying when he starts talking about how he wanted to play even with his busted ankle, because that's just who he is. Crying is okay, brother, show your emotions, it's why we love you

I really want to see this cunt go out there and neck Bayern on the big stage.

Take it by the neck in the CL for once and get a big goal, mark your territory.

Lautaro Martinez ‘received many offers, but never intended to leave Inter’
Lautaro Martinez reveals he received ‘many offers, but never intended to leave’ Inter and wants to ‘continue bringing trophies’ to the club, confessing just how badly he was hurt during the World Cup.

The captain sat down with the official club channels for a documentary on his time in the Nerazzurri jersey, called ‘In Arte Lautaro.’

It allowed him to watch images from his career and comment on what those pictures meant to him, both then and now.

“The first day was special, because arriving at a club like Inter was a dream come true,” said Lautaro Martinez.

He won his first trophy in 2021, a brace beating Milan to set them on the path towards the Scudetto, but his time at San Siro could’ve ended there.

“It was my first trophy as a professional, as I had lost so much before then. I received many offers, but I never intended to leave Inter, as my family was settled and happy here from the first moment.

“I always put the project first when choosing in sport, and at that moment I knew Inter had a great project. I was proved right, because many more trophies followed.”
Some quotes for those who didn't manage to watch the whole documentary yet

Lautaro Martinez committed to Inter and Argentina

That included at international level, where Lautaro Martinez was in the squad that won the World Cup in Qatar and the Copa America too.

However, it wasn’t always easy for him to replicate the Inter form for the Seleccion.

“The World Cup was the crowning moment for all the sacrifices I had made, seeing as my ankle was wrecked in that tournament. I had to continually get pain-killing injections to be able to play, I already could barely feel my ankle by the second match.
At the end of the season, I didn’t know whether to have an operation or not. I always gave everything for Inter, even at times things that people didn’t know or see,” added the striker, fighting back tears.
“I only got to play in that World Cup because I didn’t want to miss a single training session or match. Missing out on the 2018 tournament was a huge blow and playing in Qatar with my ankle in that state was really not what I wanted.”

As for the future, Lautaro Martinez has not the slightest intention of listening to offers from other clubs.

“Milano is my home, so many people stop me in the street, not just Inter fans. I try to treat everyone with respect. I even invested in a restaurant here, this means the city will always be part of my life.

“On a sporting level, I want to continue bringing trophies to Inter. We already came close to winning the Champions League once and we want to keep getting better.”
He's surely following Zanetti strategy in terms of statements, loyalty and commercial steps.

Time to lead the team and land that CL trophy, this he seems ready - at least mentally speaking.

Fingers crossed for his physical recovery and form.

Good news:
Inzaghi has received a positive update regarding the fitness of Lautaro Martinez, with the striker’s injury not as severe as first feared.
As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Corriere dello Sport, the Argentina international has only suffered a minor strain to his left thigh muscle and is not expected to face an extended spell on the sidelines.

The captain was sent back to Italy from international duty after complaining of the issue last week, and initial tests have ruled out any serious damage, though he is due for more robust examinations tomorrow.
Seems like it was a manoeuver to get him some rest. He's expected to play against Milan in Coppa.
