Yall obsessed over some useless trivial facts. How about being the 2nd club winning a 2nd star on our crest instead
You are clueless if you think that is going to happen in the near future.

Last season was our best chance for and we all know what happened.

Im just saying. like whoppdee fucking doo who cares about a record that doesnt benefit us in anyway. Is our club value go up just cause we pick random players who get lucky and get into the WC final?

Agreed although it must be said I dont see anything special in Alvarez he doesnt do anything exceptionally well. He fits this argentine system better because they dont really play with a 9 its more of a st/lw hybrid role to leave space for mess in the middle with di maria on the rw side
You could say the exact same about lauti..... Like what does he do exceptionally well on a consistent basis?

Should go for Alvarez. He's too good to be on the bench at City, Marotta should jump on this.

Oh and Alvarez can press too.

He's not going to get credit for this, but as soon as he came on, Argentina's offence completely changed. Given France's last minute resurgence, Argentina would have been fucked given their shit defence.

Still not thrilled about him turning into Higuain though. We had Lukaku for that.

Agreed they wouldn’t have had the 3rd if not for him and France defense was really strong which made him look like laughable shit

While it would have been cool for Lautaro to be the last taker i am glad it didn't come to that. In case he had missed it, it would have crushed him.

Argentina's attack improved immensely with Alvarez as starter and Toro dropped.

Lautoro like Kaku, has the positioning down, but lacks in other areas.

I don't know if you watched the last 20 minutes of regular time, but Argentina stagnated completely and Mbappe was pouncing on their defence.

Saka missed. Been scoring them ever since. Suffering is good, builds character. We badly need that at Inter. Would have been cool for Toro exorcize his "demons" on the biggest stage and then carry that momentum over into our season. He did that versus Netherlands. Looked like a turning point for him. But alas. Smh.

Did you watch the tournament? Soon as Alvarez became the starter Argentina's attack became more fluid. Even tonight's game. Argentina were, from minute zero, the better team. They tired towards the end, Toro energized them on the offensive, which is to be expected (fresh legs).
