As per Tuttoshit, Real offer 90mln for Lautaro. It is 60mln cash and 30mln unpaid Hakimi's instalment.

Thats still a proper 90m offer as we have to pay for Hakimi anyways. 90m is a fair offer for Martinez under the circumstances. If it helps us fund the moves for Depay+Gosens+SMS, it may be worth it. Assuming we can get Gosens for 30m and SMS for 50-60m plus Gagliardini/Vecino, matching whatever deferment we get from Real Madrid in terms of cash flows.

That would equal only 60m€ cash. We would just not pay them the Hakimi installments, those are apparently played every 6 months or something (first installment was to be paid last December, got deferred to March and paid then). So if the next installment (10m€) is this summer, that offer would basically mean 60m€ + 10m€ cash "now" (and the rest later).

But would be still a good offer.

Of course I don't believe one second it's real or gonna happen.

I’ve been a fan of this club for long enough to know we could sell Lautaro for 900 million and the headlines would still say we’re broke.

This might be the Ibra deal, but imo that was a fluke and Inter shouldn't bet on it.

How would Lukaku feel when his BFF is gone? That’s one aspect we need to consider as well. It’s not like office work where friends could just “catch up” after work.

Now I've read that Ventola says that Lautaro goes to Atletico M and the deal has already been agreed.

And it looks like Aguero is going to Barca, so Depay will be possible target most probably.

I can only see Atletico going for Lautaro in case they sell Joao Felix for a massive fee. Else i doubt it. I can't see Lautaro moving to La Liga in general. Barcelona are in a terrible financial situation and i don't think Real would offer more than 60m.

Sky reported last night Inter would consider selling Lautaro if they receive an offer of 80-90m. Spaniards simply don't have the money to offer as much. The only realistic options for Lautaro are City and Chelsea but i don't know if he's interested in a move to EPL.

Real Madrid have large debts (900m if I remember correctly) hence this noise about their financial troubles of late. But this is due to the redevelopment of their stadium. IMO their financial troubles have been overstated, they are doing much better than most big clubs during covid. Their situation isn't as bad as Juve or Inter's.

Madrid still have significant revenues. They turned over 715m last year despite covid. Their financial tightness is temporary. Their wage bill is like 50% of revenue, which is very healthy for a big club. They also have been prudent on the mercato, their average annual net transfer spend over the last 5 years is just about 10m, despite the big 350m splurge summer before last.

So 90m isn't that big for them, specially considering that Inter owe them 30m. If Real Madrid are interested, I reckon they can afford Lautaro even today. Once the crowds are back, Madrid will be fine financially and back to spending big if they want to. They are just too big a brand.

I don't know about that. Real didn't sign anyone last summer and they even sold two very promising players, Hakimi and Reguillon. Perez admitted they wouldn't have sold them without covid. Anyway, time will tell if they can still afford big moves or not.

More like they are overflooded with talents if you ask me. They had Marcelo/Mendy on the left and Carvajal/Militao/Vasquez/Odriozola on the right. Hakimi/ Reguilon are just the easiest to sell.

I voted him as MOTM. In a night where our attack was completely toothless, he created essentially all of our chances.

Runs and fights everywhere like a rabbid dog. If every one hd the same hunger on the pitch we wouldn't even have been in a situation where the referee can f*ck us.

one of the few players who fight and show balls. His scissors kick "goal" was fucking amazing. Its a shame the referee did not check VAR first when he disallowed that goal.

Such a great goal. You can see that the referee whistled before the action even ended. I don't know what happened with letting the action finish. I pray Napoli and Milan actually do their part and stay in front of those disgusting fucks.

Does anyone have footage of the revoked goal? Stepped away from the game for a few minutes and mysteriously can't find it in any highlight videos...

The finish was sick but the ref had blown the whistle already before the strike. I don’t know if that changed things at all. I’m sure the Rube players would have laid out trying to block it had the whistle not already been blown. Unfortunately we’ll never know what might have happened because of an invented foul.

gds - Inter have no intention of giving up #Lautaro . As soon as the loan arrives, the renewal will be formalized
