I think there is a lot to learn from what transpired during the Roma match at the time of Martinez's substitution and thereafter. The first thing it highlights is that the media and supporters really have no idea and all the reports focusing on the "bust-up" between coach and player are nothing but speculation: outsiders trying to read into what they see on the surface or at face value.

Having seen the videos, the reality of the situation was very different and having the cameras at the BBQ dispelled and put an end to any speculation. There were reports Martinez apologised to his coach and teammates soon after the match. One thing I really like about Martinez is that he has humility and knows when he is wrong. In the past, when his Dad made comments to the media, he took it upon himself to apologise and once again he has done likewise. In the past, we have seen players act like spoilt brats and refuse to back down when they were clearly in the wrong so I think Martinez should be complimented for realising his mistake.

When I saw the photos of the BBQ and the videos of the boxing match, I could not help but think how special our playing group and coach are. Simultaneously, I also realised how strong and united they had to be to end Juventus' Serie A hegemony by fighting for our first Championship in 11 years during a global pandemic, without the support of their fans in the stadium, with owners that were hiding on another continent implementing changes to our brand, with endless speculation about the club's ownership and our future. All the while, the external tempest has been raging and the media have had their knives out, writing and endlessly speculating about the club.

Our coach and players stayed focused and came through the other end with flying colours. And even now, with the Championship wrapped up, they are still playing to win: which is a huge change from when we would try and settle for a draw, play conservatively and just try and get by. For me, that is the difference between cowardice and a winning mentality.

What we achieved this season is no small feat. Everyone contributed to the cause and I am proud of our squad and coach and hope they will all be here again next season to continue what we have started this season.

FORZA INTER!

Great to see Lautaro to have some humility and humor!

But I have a feeling he is thinkin that Inter is just a stepping stone for him and some times he thinks he is bigger than the club. Its clear that he has little affection to Inter and has bigger goals in his mind. He gave this interview earlier.

"I was truly very close to joining Barcelona and I even talked it over with Messi," Martinez told ESPN Argentina.
"However, the Blaugrana had economic problems at that moment, so I decided to stay at Inter. It proved to be the right decision, especially as we then won the Scudetto.”

I realise that every player dont have to be fan of the club, but its always little sad to see when some players think they are bigger than club and disrespct teamates, coach and fans their outburts and that can affect to team harmony!

I think he has the potential to come really good player and eaven close to prime Luiz Suarez level? I will support him to take next steps with Inter and I hope he continue to develop as a player, but I wont be suprised if we see these things again in the future?

Thats true, but that dont change his mindset and I hope Marotta can get good money for him when we sell him? There is also Real and City who are after new striker. But I would not be surprised if Barca try him again this summer?

Real and Barcelona have no money and are not yet out of the super league, it is realistic that they will be kicked out of UEFA.
The best solution is to sell him for 90m to ManCity and get a free Memphis Depay. This will give us a serious step towards a full strengthening of the team, If we manage to sell unnecessary players, we will be in financial heaven.
Ionut Radu(7m), Aleksandar Kolarov(Free), Stefano Sensi(13m), Matías Vecino(12m), Arturo Vidal(Free), Ivan Perisic(10m), Ashley Young(Free), Andrea Pinamonti(12m), Dalbert(5m), Radja Nainggolan(6m), João Mário(13m), Valentino Lazaro(10m)

I'd keep Pinamonti, he just needs to be featured more often.

Don't want to sell Lautaro, or any from the starting at all.

But if we can get 90m for him, and then Depay on a free; it isn't a bad deal. That 90m is far more than sufficient to cover all we need, and still have plenty left over. Note that Koeman will surely be fired from Barca, who were so far the most aggressive suitor for Depay.

As per Tuttoshit, Real offer 90mln for Lautaro. It is 60mln cash and 30mln unpaid Hakimi's instalment.
