Took the fucker less than 3 months to completely change my opinion for him.

Not gonna be a stubborn fag, he has been amazing for us this year. And his finishing is improving...

Yep ever since that first barca game he improved massively, I was very skeptical about his decision making and selfishness before that game. But ever since he scored there it looks like he s gotten a lot calmer and he does not force things as much anymore.

Now with this calmness it seems like he took his game to the next level as he s been very good ever since. Also it looks like that Lukaku lautaro partnership might work out very fucken well.

What are the rules regarding yellow card accumulation / suspension? He's picked up 4 yellows already (in the league).

If I'm correct in thinking he's 1 booking away from suspension, we really need him to avoid picking up a stupid yellow against SPAL. We've got some tricky fixtures coming up, none of which I'm comfortable resting Lautaro. Knowing him, it's inevitable he's going to get booked at some stage :D Maybe he can pick up a "strategic" card against Fiorentina so he can serve his inevitable suspension during the "easy" match vs Genoa at San Siro, then start a clean slate.

If Politano is alive then it might actually be worth starting one of him or Esposito against SPAL, make sure we can have Lautaro against Roma.

Rather start Esposito/Vecino/Lazaro/Berni as strikers than Politano.

1 yellow away from suspension in the CL.

I feel they empty the card tally after the group stage (could be wrong).

Anyway, this guy has turned to be such a beast. He's a real deal. Just get that extension signed. Pay him well if needed to get that release clause the fuck out.

Agreed but Inter needs to raise the release close to 250m or remove it altogether.

He scored 5 goals in 5 matches in CL and not against small teams, against fucking Dortmund and Barca. This guys has been impressing me ever since that Barca game, playing more efficiently and smartly; although he does have his occasional brain farts trying to do fancy shit but who doesn't.

Apparently we're looking to increase his wages to 3.5m+bonuses (he's asking for 5m) and either to remove the release clause entirely or double it to 222m. Fine with me, there's not a player in the world (apart from Messi, maybe) who is worth over 200m.

Contract extensions shouldn't be given mid season.

I would normally agree, but Lautaro is a special case. The extension would show the club's commitment and more importantly kill all the inevitable annoying rumours of his transfer.
