If Asllani played 10 minutes for every time he was called Asslani in this forum, nobody would complain about his lack of playing time here.

For some weird reason, Mkhitaryan is easier to remember than Asllani, what can I say. Maybe if I saw him more often...

Somebody a while ago called him ass man and for some reason it's been imprinted in my brain. I'll be more careful in the future:)

Wasted season for his development and wasted money for the club.

When it comes to Asllani you need to take into consideration he is last in Inzaghi's pecking order and Inzaghi doesn't really rotate much. When you remember these things it's hardly surprising he has barely played in the last month. He was only getting (limited) playing time because Brozovic was injured. Now that Brozovic is back there's no space for Asllani in Inzaghi's mind.

I look at Bajcetic at Liverpool who's somewhat of a similar profile of player to Asllani. He was only brought in by Klopp in the second half of the season but often Henderson/Fabinho are on the bench in favour of him - and he's only 18 years old. Meanwhile Inzaghi hardly even gives Asllani a start with Brozovic injured.

I know it can be difficult managing a big club and playing young players, but I honestly think Inzaghi might be one of the worst at it.

I think it is a matter of finding a balance in the starting eleven. The problem with Inzaghi is that he is not even open to starting Asllani. Even when Brozovic was injured, with Asllani supposedly being Brozovic's direct replacement, he preferred to give minutes elsewhere. I would not have a problem with this if we were performing to expectations and getting results. But neither of those two things is happening and Inzaghi has done absolutely nothing to try and change things up a little or find a solution.

I guess the question I have is how much worse could Asllani be in comparison to Inzaghi's preferred starter? We are already playing terribly. The drop off with Asllani in the starting eleven would not be tremendous. He should at least be given a chance because making the same selections game after game and not seeing any improvement in the team's performance is ludicrous way to get results. Essentially, Inzaghi is banking on hope and not much else and at this stage in our seaso, it well and truly shows.

One of the most infuriating things about Inzaghi. Juventus yesterday had Fagioli playing 90 minutes and he looked fresher than Mkhitaryan who had just come on. I'm not blaming Mkhitaryan as he's around 34 years old, but we really need to inject some energy into our midfield. Some of these guys are either way off-form or have been played so much that they have no energy.

We're essentially using 4 midfielders for 3 spots. Have Asllani and Gagliardini even played in the last 5-6 matches? I'm not asking to play Gagliardini, but just making a point that Inzaghi is essentially playing in 3 competitions relying on 4 midfielders for 3 spots.

#Inter considers Kristjan Asllani an important asset for the future. The management team has asked Simone Inzaghi to increase the young midfielder’s playing time, although Inzaghi does not consider him ‘ready
It looks like the management also have some disagreement with Inzaghi. I'm pretty sure that some of the players also do not get along well with him, and I'm sure for two - Barella and Brozovic.

Just a feeling when watching them. Both of them look somehow frustrated and it seems that their confidence is down. Brozo also lost his place for Hakan, and Barella is frequently changed in the games. I didn't check the stats, but I think that he is behind Hakan and Mhiky in total minutes played so far. I know the level on they can perform, so I'm not so convinced in all of those talks about decline. The reason could be a different, but I believe it is the coach. Also, there were some rumors that some of the players are not agree with Inzaghi's decisions, and based of all of that, I think that Brozo and Barella are those players. I could be wrong though.

I thought Inzaghi selected all the transferred players, how could it be that Asllani was brought if he wasn't Inzaghi's choice?
