Unfair to judge him when he started next to Frattesi who is completely lost in terms of positioning. That entire midfield doesn't function in a way that Inter needs and that's not all on Asllani.

I would personally love to see Asllani - Zielinski - Barella trio.

He isn't a bad player, he just can't cope with the level he needs to be when playing here. We need someone much quicker in decision-making and passing. He constantly touches the ball two or three times more than he should, and against teams that sit deep that's a nightmare.

Ironically, we need hakan more against teams that defend well and sit deep like monza than against someone like atalanta, fiorentina or even milan who play more open football. Hopefully inzaghi takes that into consideration as well when rotating these two.

He is not a regista. As simple as that. Anyone who watched him playing for NT could see the difference between the role he is playing here and the role he is used to play. Inzaghi is on this fucking path to turn him into a holding player and this is his 3rd year without showing a clear sign of transition. He shows glimpses of ability because he is actually a good midfielder with good technique, passing and vision and as I've said before we are really not doing him any favors if we continue to play him out of position. Then again we dont really have any option on the market or in house to even remotely cover Hakan.

To be fair neither of brozo or calha were registas when they were 22....
ALso not sure i agree withyou on the movement he did move he just rarely got that pass back...
Imho more of an issue with who he was surrounded by rather than his quality.

Brozovic added a whole other defensive dimension that you don't get with Asllani though.

We paid 30M for him one year ago and he is actually not a bad player, last season was definitely positive imo, doesn't fit our system but he is 25, starting to make a good reputation for himself. I'm pretty sure we could find some Chelsea, Newcastle or Aston Villa to pay 35-40M for him.

Yeah good luck getting that 40 mio from anybody that was my point.....
What good reputation is he starting to make? Not being able to get a starting spot at inter?
Only reason why his price could potentially have increased is the occasional goal he scores with the NT.

And i say this as a poster who likes frattesi more then the average poster on here...
Kind reminder that we are not good at selling players unless they are BIG names....
