We deserved exactly defeat and nothing else. Juve had 2-3 clear scoring chances in addition to the goal. That Eto'o chance was perhaps our second scoring chance after the first minute (Sneijder-Pazzini chance where Pazzo eventually didn't hit the ball after Sneijder passed poorly).

I can't understand how our players can play like that in a game like this. We got fucking owned always in this match, how they can't have any self-dignity to show what they are really made of?

Really horrible game.

Couldn't agree more. We deserved this loss since our team was playing incompetent majority of the game.

you can't win derbies without passion..

That pretty much sums it up. I remember back in Mancini's days when every time we play Juventus and Milan we are too scared to do anything. Today I saw the exact same thing, we weren't aggressive nor passionate, they wanted it more than we did.

1-0 FT deserved win for Juventus. Our poor away game form continues.

I wouldnt get too upset though, this fixture is one of those you should expect not getting 3 points in. Its not the end of the world, or the scudetto hopes.

We have played all the top 8 teams now except milan and Lazio now. Milan on the other hand still needs to face palermo, juventus, roma, napoli and ofcourse Inter.

The really important games comes now, grinding the mid/lower table teams while Milan drops points.

Yes of course we needed a goal so adding a Materazzi would have done us wonders, right?

Coutinho maybe could made the difference imo, but well, fuck it. Lets think about next match vs Fiorentina.

Guys the scudetto is not gone we have a chance vs fiorentina to make up for this loss. Milan still have very tough games ahead and will drop points. Lets not act like those idiots at the BBilan forum.

Who said, changing for 4-2-3-1 would fix things...? ;)

We did, and this didn't change much.

Then Cuchu sub came for Yuto as I advised(taking Cuchu out)... and we start finaly to play better ;)

Anyways, to simply put... Cuchu doesn't fit Leo philosophy of play. The guy besides tactical awareness, which helps him to find himself in good positions to score, offers nothing offensively. Lets be honest here.

This made me laugh. Thanx

Guys don't worry, this isn't over, at least it isn't for me. I still believe that we can do it.

It's not the first time we threw away an entire half, and try to catch up late in the second half. We managed to pull it off against Bari, but we won't always manage it like that, and this was just one of those games. We only have ourselves to blame.

We were totally contained with our approach into the game, and to be fair Leo did switch things reasonably quick compare to what he usually does. However, Leo's starting and tactics are quite predictable to be honest, and we will have a hard time coming up against teams with tactically sound coaches.

BTW, 4-2-3-1 did change a lot, we've created chances here and there by stretching the Juve midfield wide. Compare to what we had with 4-3-1-2, it was quite a huge improvement.

No. But I expect the highest paid player in Serie A to score a sitter.

Rannochia had a brilliant game and made good runs but no one of our players seemed to notice him.

Strikers do miss chances and please guys, stop this none sense praising of Ranocchia. He had a number of poor performances and he still get those praises. Why?! Just cuz he's a young prospect? Italian? Shit just got to end now. There's nothing wrong in pointing out a negative performance and expect improvement. Now how was that a brilliant performance?! He only had a better 2nd half when Rube played deep and whenever the ball got to our penalty area it was their's.

Y'all make it sound so easy!! You are charging into the box at high speed! The aim is the ball should hit me anywhere & go in...Fortunately it does, but at the wrong angle!! Its not like he took his time & blasted the ball over the crossbar or something!! Give the guyu a break. he was 1 of the few active players in there 2day!

Not sure it was tactics if you take Lucio, Samuel and Stankovic away we are always going to struggle in the 'big' games. I quite like that Leo had the nuts to take Cambi off he was dreadful tonight. We are just a little short of talent off the bench dare I say a Mario short?

I'm gonna lose it if any of our players or coach come out and say that we deserved a point or the result was unfair. On all fairness we should have lost this 3-0. They schooled us tonight. Horrible tactics.
Only time we looked like playing was after 70 when Cambiasso was taken off and it was too late by then with juve having 11 defending. Terrible terrible game.

Agree!

I don't wanna here ANY of that shit Zanetti and Cambiasso normally say after these kind of ridiculous performances. Our leaders.. yeah... It was more close to 2,3-0 than 1-1.

Before Roma match I counted getting 7/9 points from these three crucial matches (Roma, Juve, Viola) would be enough to keep is in the title race. Now we can get maximum of 6. Then we are still 5 points from Milan. So basically we have to win Milan in the derby AND keep winning as much as them and even more. With our setup (horrible defending) that's not gonna happen.

It was the same even with Jose.

If Jose and Leo can't motivate them to play this game like it should play... I don't know who can. Maybe Zenga would do best here, but this game was lost in our heads, not because we are worse team than juve.

... Missed sitter or not Eto'o is not the reason or even close to being the reason why we lost today! When our midfielders miss-play every single pass, when our center backs make a mockery of the book art called defending, when Matri has two open headers, a 1 on 1 and an open shot and we're in the 88th minute and miss an open goal you clearly can not blame Eto'o. This game would have been the perfect game to play with our elevated defensive line but instead we sit back, let them score and then have no ability to get back into the game. Leonardo messed this game up, Kharja, Motta and Cambiasso did nothing to rectify the situation and then Cordoba gave Juventus the assist. Eto'o was the only one on this team who gave a damn, maybe Maicon too, the rest however were :palm: worthy...
