Definitely

For example I can't watch Coppa Italia in Finland from legit sources this season. Had to use stream.
Same in Estonia. Barely can watch any live Serie A Inter games from TV. Setanta owns rights to Serie A, LaLiga and Ligue1 and Serie A is usually the third choice for them.

Same here in Australia. With the exception of the commentary being well in front of the game of the stream I was watching, the quality was pretty good. But it is a shit way to watch games, especially the Coppa Italia final.

I wish the club had its own streaming service that we could subscribe to so that we do not have to miss any games.

Shame the people in charge can't sell it better.
Apparently the Serie A opened an office in New York only this year.

It's a start, but knowing them it's a broom closet in the back of a seedy Chinese restaurant. Most definitely not a luxury commercial suite in a high rise Manhattan building.

The League Council, which met today, approved the opening of a Lega Serie A headquarters in New York, on 6th Avenue, a few steps from the Empire State Building. In the new office will work Charlie Stillitano, Scott Guglielmino and Marco Messina, points of reference in the United States for Italian football fans.

Could still be a closet on 6th avenue either way

Have you seen our locker room?

Speaking of smokers, for once it was not Brozovic but Barella who ran the most throughout the game with 16.6km distance covered in 120 minutes. Brozo was a close second with 16.1km.
No wonder why we gas out after half time.

@rfU Should Lautaro have taken that? That's a world class penalty by Calha
It was a great, well taken penalty in a high pressure moment. Props to Hakan. But let's not let recency bias convince us that Hakan is some specialist penalty taker. He is isn't. If insigne, Jorgihno or Dyabla were to join Inter next season they'd automatically become first choice over Hakan. Easy.

In anycase, my beef with Lautoro is that he's simply not putting in the work. When i'm assigned a task at my job, I don't try, fail and just say "fuck it, let someone else have a go". I get my ass in gear, put in the necessary hours and effort until i can perform as required. Lautoro is the one who appointed himself #1 penalty taker. Instead of taking it on and improving where needed, he has simply deferred to a player who has taken and scored less penalties than him. To me it speaks volumes of Lautoro's mentality, a player who a season ago we deemed clutch. That's not a knock on Lautoro necessarily, I'm just a disappointed fan.

My Man...Hakan is the set piece specialist and that includes penalties, thats a different argument to what u think about Lautaro taking or passing on them.

Also dont mention Jorginho or Insigne in ur argument for mentality or clutchness...Please.

Hakan's career penalty conversion rate is probably the highest of all the names mentioned. If Lautaro takes another meaningful penalty with Hakan on the pitch that's a failure of coaching.

Not only that but If I know my teammate shoots them better than me and i pass it on to him in a final or in a clutch situation as opposed to letting my ego take over because i think im better or i wanted more goals to my name isnt that better for the team?

Talking penalties only, and no, he's not a specialist. What are you basing it on? What were you thoughts after the Milan miss?

Fact is, either of those two, or dybala join Inter tomorrow, they're automatically first choice.

Bonucci has a 100% conversion rate, what's your point?

To be clear, it's not because Hakan is better, it's because Lautoro and others suck. I could never in a million years imagine Eto'o or Ibra or Adriano or Milito or Lukaku handing over a penalty to Hakan. Why? Because they're goal scorers, first and foremost, and they help the team by scoring goals, not by handing over to the new guy who has taken less career penalties than you.

In my view, if Lautoro really wanted to help the team, he would practice penalties until he made a ridiculous number (like 50+) in a row. If you follow basketball at all, look up what lengths Giannis went to improve his freethrow shooting. When you're paid the big bucks you endeavor to go the extra mile. But nothing against Lautoro, i'm just disappointed, he had many clutch moments in the seasons prior, reason why he wanted the wage raise and the #10 jersey, but now he just meekly looks on while others make decisive plays.

But what if this game went to penalties (and Lautoro wasn't subbed off), i wonder if some of you would still think Lautoro was putting the team first by deferring a penalty to Barella, Dumbfries, Darmian, etc

Lmao using free throw as an analogy. In football you can pick who to take the PK, you can't pick who takes your Free throw in basketball. Fuck, even if you are injured you still have to take your free throw, I.e. Kobe.

Stop it with all this bullshit that Lautaro is scared of clutched moment thus giving away the penalty. He knows that he's not the best pk taker and he's Man enough to admit it and let Calha take it when it's very important. How do you know he doesnt practice taking PKs?And let's not pretend like he doesn't take PKs anymore

I didnt think anything, a lot of players miss he is still better than Lautaro in taking them, and he was taking them in Milan along with Turkey his NT.

I dont think he would defer to any of the players u mentiond, ur just assuming there.

I personally think ur making too much off it but thats fine its ur argument and point of view so its respected.

couldn't think of a like-for-like example, but i was illustrating a point of how Giannis was a poor FT shooter and put the work in to improve. We could use rugby as an example, at the highest level #10s and #15s have to be damn good at goal kicking (80+ %, northern hemisphere), one or two exceptions aside, it's no written rule, but it's expected. There is no handing over to #8 because he has more range.

How do you know he doesnt practice taking PKs?
Shoot tenchnique and accuracy are poor. Lacks composure. Of course he practices but not nearly enough. No ones asking him to breakdown quantum physics, just kick the damn ball in the net.

I dont think he would defer to any of the players u mentiond, ur just assuming there.
Nope. Watch all of Hakan's penalties at Inter, how many had you nervous? All of them, right? Now contrast with the aforementioned. Kessie. Immobile. Lukakau. Or even Balotelli. These are penalty specialists.

I personally think ur making too much off it
Poor penalty vs Milan = 2pts lost. So yes, it is a big deal. If we want to compete at the highest level and contest for trophies Lautoro's penalty taking has to be on point. Not only that, but on an individual level, what striker doesn't want to score goals? It's not like Toro is exceling in other areas, so why not pounce on this opportunity for an easy goal? Everyones acting like penalty taking is some rare or lost art possessed only by a few, it's just practice

Giannis is awful example. His FT% is all over the place. He was still only 72% this season and he is 72% for whole career. Not much of an improvement.

How does this trophy winning match thread turned into this?

Anyway good discussion though, keep it going.

BTW personally I don't think there is anything wrong letting Hakan take the penalty. Besides Toro working on his penalty can co-exist with the above, we don't have to choose.
