If it was up to me, I would still prefer to sign a competent CCB (Bijol? Schuurs?) who would eventually step up to take to starting role from de Vrij and Acerbi.

I'd much rather have Acerbi as back up LCB where Carlos Augusto and Bisseck can fit in if needed, than having him as the only back up to de Vrij.

Bijol is a right footed CB, we wanted a cheap Bastoni cover similar role as Bisseck. Cabal was left footed and promising. So thats why.

Acerbi I think can still be reliable next season with DeVrij lets hope they still have stamina and pace. Bisseck can cover CB too if needed, but Bijol would be perfect 2025 signing. Preferrably free. But maybe Giuntoli steals him too after cashing Bremer for 70M€. Now that would be total humiliation.

Bremer was a sensible move for them though. Best DF in SA that season and they just sold De Ligt to Bayern, there simply wasn't a better choice.

Agreed. Djalo and now Cabal seemed like moves to deny Inter. Which is funny because Cabal was no priority for us or anything like that. Just a bench option because our guy got injured for half a season.

Cabal - Bremer - Djalo is solid potential on paper. To bad the games played on the pitch and Juve don’t even have plans to use them properly.
