I really don’t understand this. I didn’t like him at all in The matches I saw him. But maybe we’re just looking for a second goalkeeper? He’s a upgrade For Audero, but that’s about it.

this... out of all the names he's the worst option... I am sure he would develop nice and become better with Sommer around, but yea, lets see.
Like i said, it will come down to money. Bento is 20M+, so we probably don't wanna pay that much, while all these other guys, Okoye, Martinez, Mandas, are around 15M... And i am also sure we can get some solid deals with these Italian teams... And if i had to choose out od those names, Okoye was the most impressive.

10 years of FIFIts pretty ugly to skip our own talented kid, Di Gregorio, to Juve then go for a much worse like Martinez. Sounds like a panic buy.
More so when we desperately need homegrown profiles aiming for Pinamonti or Bonazzoli or Lirola, as per rumours.

I won’t believe for a second Genoa is going to get 20 mln, in cash, for this dude.
He simply ain’t worth that. For max 15 mln ( too much imo) he is yours.

10 years of FIFSounds like we want to complete this deal ASAP. Whether it's a decoy or not for Bento, I trust the management team's decision for a new keeper. This guys checks off alot of boxes on things we're looking for in a keeper.

Yeah, me either; even at 10, it might still be questionable. Any larger price may require a loan option deal or players counter parts.
However, ignoring the price tag, I think this guy should not even be on our shortlist if he is projected to succeed Sommer.
As you mentioned, as a backup, he may be an upgrade, but that is all.

I'm not sure if we're in a hurry; he was most likely a decoy, but with Di Marzio now confirming more communication, he's probably no longer a decoy.
This guy definitely did the basics correctly, but that's it. Imo, he may not be the Sommer successor we are looking for.

Ikr. We have signed three goalkeepers this season, with the starting goalkeeper coming in August. So there must be something to this.

It is what it is. Looks like he’s our guy. Luckily we have Sommer, en let’s hope the fee is low. We can continue our pursue for a first gk next summer I guess.

10 years of FIFJosep is the 1st keeper. We're not spending any good amount of money for a back up GK.
