Nothing you can do, as both receive decent wages and both have to accept a wage reduction if they wanted to play elsewhere, and since both only have one year remaining on the contract it’s not really hard understanding why they refuse other offers.

Salcedo and Satriano on the other hand is just less understandable, it’s not like any of them earn that much both are under 0.5m gross.

Was just thinking to myself how few big money signings we’ve had post 2020. At first I thought we just had one, being Pavard. Then I remembered this fucking leech.

30m€ in todays football is more like 'average money' than 'big money', which makes it even more pathetic.

I suppose you are right.

There has been a total of 4 incoming transfers to serie a teams with a fee over 29m€ (including Frattesi) this mercato, in contrast to 23 in EPL.

Madness.

It seems that Inzaghi is not bothered with Correa staying! Asked if he’s be happy to keep Correa in the squad to bolster the attacking depth, Inzaghi replied “Absolutely, yes.”
“Correa is working well in training,” the Inter coach said. “He’s a player I’ve known for a long time. He’s gotten to a good physical level in training.”

Corriere dello Sport: the possibility of termination is out of the question. If an agreement is not reached with the other clubs, Correa is destined to remain at least until January as the fifth striker in the league. He will almost certainly not be included in the UEFA list.

As Tuttosport note, the Belgian top flight’s transfer window is open until September 6th.

And in the case of Turkey, the window goes all the way until the 13th of next month.

Lastly, the Saudi Pro League – which has shown no reluctance to spend big on unwanted players from European clubs – has a transfer window that’s open until October 6th.
We have a saying over here: " Hope dies last. "

We have one Coppa match before the January window. Maybe that's the competition for Correa where he would play. Probably trying to ship him out in January like Sensi last season and maybe he's more willing to move if he realizes how little he gets to play. Assumably. Maybe in some special occasions Inzaghi sees some use of this guy.

It's a relief but i am not laughing just yet. We may end up with cripple Martial.

:D

He's just one of the many options at this stage, I doubt it's gonna go through.

But he's gonna get offers from Greece and Turkey, don't think there's anyone else crazy enough to go for him.

I can't imagine being a part of a company that gives me some crazy salary, and everyone there knows about the salary, but somehow after one or two months they all find out that I was lying in my interview and CV and I don't have any of the skills they hired me for, so they go above and beyond with other staff members, trying to cut salaries, trying to fire, making people work overtime just to cover my tasks, because I simply suck and have zero idea what's going on... And to show up there every day in the meetings, eat all the donuts, drink all the coffee, attend all the after work parties/gatherings.

Zero self respect.

Too late.

It won't happen after all since the ECL list has been submitted already and the striker we had on the market didn't leave after all, so no open spots for Joaquin.

There's still a week left in the market but I doubt Panathinaikos will make a move. Inter probably wants to sell, Correa probably asks for a long term deal, and well, let's say that the club isn't that desperate. And who in their right mind would sign to play in the corrupted Greek league only?
