I’m afraid he’s still on our books until his contract runs out. Who would want to pay anything for this guy? Our only hope is a golden handshake. But i doubt he would accept anything less than his full contract payment.

their offer is that they take him and we still pay 80% of his salary... which is probably good, compared to the thing that will happen. a handshake.
A handshake is going to result with us also paying 80% of his salary.

haha do they have any promising player? like even swap. If we paying him 50% or more of his salary just keep him. Or fk offer Lazio that deal we pay 60% of his salary just take your trash back

If it's the same paying him 100% and leaving on a free paying his full salary, and staying, better staying, he can bring the water to the real players.

I think golden handshake is less than full 100%. But I think there needs to be a club willing to sign the guy before we do it so that everything can be agreed more easily, Correa is ready to take less than 100% of the remaining salary since it's compensated by the new salary.

booed at a preseason game. roflmao.... still will probably play in the first game of the season, as thuram and martinez are not ready and everyone else is injured... Correa - Mkhitaryan duo in the attack... can't wait to see it.

Genoa are in the market for a new center-forward. According to Sky Sport Italia, the Griffins have set their sights on Inter outcast Joaquin Correa.
God please make this happen on a permanent deal.

I won't get my hopes up, but hey, it's Sky!

Genoa pays half of his current gross salary to us as transfer fee and we pay half of Correa's salary as golden handshake to them. That way on paper Correa gets less than 2M net salary at Genoa.

Probably we will end up with much worse conditions (irregardless if he ends up at Genoa or not).

Mkhitaryan as a forward must be one of the worst suggestions i have heard. Mkhi had to drop deeper to rejuvanate his career because he couldn't be effective in attacking third anymore. The times Mkhi ccould play as AM/CF are over.

I don't remember ever seeing him actually play in that position for Inter in these two years. Yet the media keeps saying this option all the time how Mkhi can be the "5th forward".

Did he play in that position in the preseason now?

poor genoa fans. Might going to Retegui and Gudmonson to Correa. Great upgrade

He played as second striker a few times last season. One of them was against Monza, we had Correa on the bench but Inzaghi opted mot to use the fifth sub and played him behind Arna.
