And every time their clubs get rejected it is usually because:
a) The player is not good enough
b) The player lacks ambition
c) The club preferred someone better

Sometimes it's a combination of them all.

Stoke is no longer in the EPL. The EPL also has become much more tactical with many top tacticians working there.

Serie A is now the highest scoring league.

And the defensive physical football has moved to Spain with the likes of Getafe and AM.

Well, it was at the same level or occasionally higher than the PL during that time as well, so hardly a big change.

We'll see how Serie A fares this season, I think the league will cut back on the scoring frenzy.

It may be a biased thing to say after watching his goal fest compilation, but his finishing seems more than good. I think his biggest problem may be over complication of things, where he should have kept it simple. Hopefully he can improve on that.
