Hope his injury isnt serious, if he continues like this he deserves to start over a healthy D'Ambrosio.

I'd rather start him at RW and bench Candreva

He seems to lack some very basic football concepts. For example, he has no clue on how to mark a player (fucked up against Ramagnoli again like the first derby).

While saying that, I'd still start him over the current Candreva without hesitation. He has some nice speed on the ball while running into spaces and doesn't delay the attack like Candreva. But I think that currently his best position is RW. No RB please. He's clearly not defensively suited for Serie A.

I'd play Cancelo as RM. He's shit as RB.

Quoting myself from the Coppa game.
Cancelo on the ball was never bad. The problem is when he was crossing vs Pordenone and that he's not really great at most basic stuff in football.

If we want to nitpick, he's also at fault for keeping Cutrone onside for their goal.
Tactically he's not strong.
He can't really shoot either (they stopped teaching that in Portugal perhaps).
His static crossing is terrible, yet his crosses seem rather good when he's on the run but even that comes inconsistently.
Has almost zero awareness of where the opposition is.

I said it many times, this just another Fabio Coentrao. Some exciting characteristics and a few weaknesses that "we can teach him", yet no result. Not a player I'd want to have here for the long term.

Liked him yesterday, had many interceptions but his movement when the teammates has the ball has to improve. Sometimes he just stopped 3m away from his teammate and just watched like a complete idiot but other than that I liked him.

Not as bad as many make him out to be. He's a very, very raw Jordi Alba, but at 23, he's not exactly a prospect anymore. He adds some desperately needed creativity into our attacking play, but he has almost no tactical intuition to speak of. I'm not sure if he's worth keeping, but we should use his speed as much as possible whenever Candreva goes to the shitter.

I wouldnt trust him at RB and if we are going to buy him for that position we are retarded

For RW he could easily replace this version of candreva.. but is he good enought and significant upgrade thats something else

Very good game for him. If he can keep performing at this level then it will be a needed boost for Inter's attack.

He's clearly a smart and real player, probably too smart for us though :troll: Can't see D'Ambrosio getting back in at RB, nor do I want him to.

This guy is good. A welcome surprise tbh. I thought for sure he was going to be shit. Turns out it's Dalbert that's shit (so far).

I would love to see what he could do with another partner down the wing instead of Candreva.

I'd prefer he didn't have a partner down the wing for him to run into - clear the way for him with 4-3-3!

so he said that the Italian league is hard...to play here...probably the hardest around...

what does hard mean ffs?! Isn't Spanish football better...too many tactical instructions in CALCIO...you need to defend well here...the flow of the game is interrupted a lot...you need to be alert a lot as a defender...he did well enough today against Lazio, some slick technical skills shown that signor Candreva has not

We may have genuinely done better if it had been just him on the right flank with no one to impede him, Candreva was detrimental to our play on the wing. He might have the best dribbling skills in the team outside of Karamoh maybe, I really liked what he had to show tonight.

I like his game, brings running with the ball and vertical passing in to play...reminds me of a certain Maicon when he started here...tbh...and no he wasn't the "great Maicon" from the start either...he makes some defensive mistakes but so did Maicon...JZ covered his ass...today Gags covered Cancelo pretty welll.
maybe not buying him in the summer could be a Telles 2.0 mistake tbh

Might be a bit early to think about redeeming him but he's certainly showing more promise than the other summer buy who was supposed to fix our full back crisis. He could definitely be a strong addition to the team with some classic Spalletti defensive grooming.

Very good game. It's great to see his technical ability and will be interesting to see how he does with playing a few matches in a row.

If he continues like this lets pay for him with Dalbert + some $$$ on top.
