He was injured till a bit ago. So he can get better but he is a 12 million euro player at best. You guys watch Valencia? They make Jesion and Kdog look world class haha maybe it’s the system they play in like Udinese that hids players flaws like um defenders not knowing how to defend

Don't talk about something you have no idea about. It makes you look stupid than you already are.

Valencia have a new coach this season, remember the guy who was really close to us before we chose Pioli?

Not terrible but really not likely he'll do anything to justify him being purchased.

Spalletti said the other day that Cancelo is an exceptional player

It was obvious from the first minute he's played here that he's even more useless than the guy we've sent to the other direction. We should've taken a CB or a some midfielder instead.

That's why you dont make dramatic goodbyes when going on loan. Guy cried on the pitch and he;s gonna be back in 6 months :trollol:

What’s the point? We need depth and it’s not like we’ll gain something by sending him back. Also, he is not that bad and I think this is BS.

I don't think he's that bad either. Truthfully, I've been fairly disappointed in most of his appearances, but it's important to factor in the fact that he's been injured and has had one start.

Although he had some terrible plays in the Coppa game, he did show some good stuff: that play for Karamoh's one-on-on that he skied, the assist for Perisic that he missed from 5 metres out, the assist for Icardi's header from 5 metres that he missed.

So while I agree he hasn't been very good, he did serve 3 chances that should have been easy goals in the same game.

Who knows, maybe he does have something to offer. I've never watched him for Valencia so I'm not sure what his ceiling really is.

We have 3 players who can play at RB position (D'Ambrosio, Nagatomo and Santon). Infront of them we have atleast Candreva and Karamoh (not counting players who can switch there). So even at extreme emergencies we still don't need Cancelo.

He was brought here to see if he's worth 35m and therefore an upgrade to D'Ambrosio. Apparently he's not, so off he goes back to Valencia. We were looking for D'Ambrosio's upgrade not his back up.

Most likely option. Just like Montoya, who didn't really want to sign for Inter and showed just that on the pitch.

Its not like we lose anything by keeping here until the end of the season, he'd only on an option

He probably wants to leave just like Mario to play more so he can make it for the world cup team.

It’s tough for him, he grabbed a spot in the NT because of his good form in Valencia and for the under 21, he played some friendly matches and did great so it was like he was there to stay, specially since he can play as both LB and RB.

The problem is that now he’s not playing much and a lot has happened in the full backs spot of the NT. Coentrão who was either injured or not playing for Real is back in Portugal and playing regularly for one of the big 3, Sporting, also being our LB for quite some time gives him all the reasons to be called for the WC. Guerreiro is playing for Dortmund and was one or our best players when we won the Euro, he’ll be called, so now he has no spot in the left.

The right side only had Cédric from Southampton who was just average and Nelson from Benfica who was starting to appear, he would fit here with no problem, but this also changed. Nelson now plays for Barça, and a new player Ricardo, who was originally loan for Porto in France returned after 2 seasons after being elected the best full back of the league those 2 seasons. He’s now Porto starting RB, and he can also play as RW or as LB so he also has the versatility card to play.

If Cancelo doesn’t play this last half season it would be a surprise if he’s called. Feel bad for him, he’s a great player, also it seems that any Portuguese player or a player that comes from our league to Inter for one reason or another don’t succeed, I really though players like him and João Mário would do great things, it’s like a curse, I don’t understand...

It's not just Portuguese players mate but that being said both Cancelo and Mario have been given opportunities to play in a team with a defined style of play and system. Joao Mario failed, he's been a shell of himself after what I considered being an amazing preseason and Cancelo has been benched by D'Ambro and Candreva who are having good seasons.

Not necessarily. It could be that they're just not suited for Inter and Italy.

In terms of Joao Mario, he has shown some things. At the beginning of the season, he started off well coming on in both of the Fiorentina and Roma games (had a role to play in our comeback vs. Roma). He's shown he's good on the ball, has some nice passes, but his issue has always been shooting. He is so non-dangerous that players never have to worry about him getting in good positions. I still hope he can end up a good buy for us but I wouldn't be surprised if he leaves and Pastore comes.

Joao Mario arguably our best midfielder last season, only this season he had slow start due to injury so he lost his form. When people act like scaredy cat saying our midfield cant stand a chances if he and borja playing together, they prove us wrong with how fluid is our midfield on Chievo games. After that we end up with two shitshow games. People say his problem is shooting, well people say same thing to Coutinho, kova or kdog but why they didnt have same problem on their new club and just keep scoring.

Cancelo even more tragic, before pordenone most people confident he is better than candreva and expect him to replace candreva right away. I even argue with some saying cancelo and karamoh no more than a backup like biabiany. Now those people seem already give up after that Pordenone games, he was having decent games and showing some glimpse as good backup but seem people who hyping him and have high hope is the one who gave up earlier. Thxfully unlike Jomar, Spalletti still not giving up on him and try to move Candreva as treq to give RW spot to cancelo. One good games people probably will start sucking his dick lol.
