He has long been the best coach of the nation… the biggest problem with him has always been his melodrama, we would likely won 3-4 not just two the past 4 years with him at the helm. He create confidence and consistency and will to fight and would never allow lazy attitude. I’m surprised how quickly he seemed to have managed to turn the ship. We on the other hand are completely unconvincing and only seem to show up mentally in CL a league we can’t win anyway

I'm going to assume this is talking about in the context of Italian football because Ancelotti only had a brief Napoli spell and otherwise hasn't been involved in Italian football for the last 15 years.
I think the idea of winning 3-4 straight Scudetti on the bounce with Conte doesn't stand up to scrutiny though. We already bottled one chance in Conte's first season here because we couldn't stop throwing away leads in the last 15-20 minutes of games during the 2nd half of the season (both pre- and post-COVID pause) and Conte burns out everywhere he goes. Even without COVID nuking our finances and his perception of Suning's ambition, I doubt he would've lasted too much longer here. Not the way he rolls.
Napoli will get challenged here pretty soon. Their next game is away to Empoli and Lecce after the break, but then after that a run of @ Milan, Atalanta, @ Inter, then Roma.

Obviously Ancelotti is a more accomplished manager overall. Not even a debate. Conte versus Mancini is a more apt comparison.

10 years of FIFYeah, me either. I even think odds are being generous towards gobbi's eventual win. I thought giving out around 1.45 odds is relatively high, given how gobbi's morale is these days. Maybe a miracle might happen, but I give it 1% today.

Davide Nicola needs to bring in Luvumbo and Marin right in the second half. The former could be a threat in counter attacking football although I don't have any expectation of a miracle today.
