Wanna bet Milan and Juve swap past managers ?

Juve they won't have a newbie they want a sure thing for their 200+ mils of investment. Conte first choice, they will try to bring him in , maybe another experienced winner like Klopp at any wage demand, they don't care.

Milan will sign a management who chases talents to sell later, zero scudetti til 2030 and exactly the opposite to Juve. A hot young manager with " fresh ideas". De Zerbi or Italiano.

But they all fail under pressure. Rinse and repeat.

Juve will get Pioli and Milan Allegri.

For some reason I see Klopp more willing to coach Milan than Juventus.

Not sure on his situation with Red Bull nowadays of course.

Klopp is earning 5-6M€ net as an adviser for Red Bull, he earned maybe 60-70-80M€ during his 9 year Liverpool reign, this guy is enjoying life as it is right now.

Only international job for him imo.

As long as gobbi doesn't re-hire Conte, I'm fine with anyone they bring in, no matter if it's Klopp or Guardiola.

Oh absolutely. Too much of a change. Better to go all in in Naples and use that 150m€ to really go for that scudetto. Become a hero for the city.

When you win a scudetto in Turin, all 39k come celebrating, when you win a scudetto in Naples, Vesuvio will start to smoke and pizzerias will be named after you .

It has been one of the best weekends in a while. Gobbi lost, Napoli drew, Milan won, and Inter won. Yes, you read it correct. Milan's win means that they're still on race for top4, which means they aren't gonna bend over in Stadio Maradona. Their fanbase is divided into "need to lose so Napoli will keep up with Inter", and "we need to win so we could achieve CL football".

From a professional perspective, their defeat would basically bury their chances for top4, and that will likely drag them to another banter era, but from a fan perspective, it's kinda painful to make a favour to Inter

But either way, I think Napoli will defeat them. They tend to perform better in these high profile matches. It's the middle to bottom teams that make Conte's team struggle.

Italiano is doing amazing job with Bologna. I have to admit that I was very sceptic on his adventure with Bologna, but he's proved me wrong so far. Despite of many changes on their team, plus more matches played, he's still managed to keep them competitive and fight for top4 against elite of the league. Credit must be given where it's due.

Though if they end up at top4 eventually, that would be even more impressive than Motta's historical season with Bologna IMO.

Code:
Bologna under Motta compared to Italiano

2023/24:
4th place
54 points
42 goals scored
25 goals conceded

2024/25
4th place
54 points
49 scored
34 conceded
+6 extra games played

It's incredible that we have only a 3 point lead, especially with the shit results Napoli has been getting. Not to mention the 2/12 points against Juve and Milan.

But probably it is better this way. In the last phase of the season, it is better if we step on to the pitch every time thinking it's a critical game. Having inconsequential games might seem easier, but hurts the mentality.

We survived the hardest patch of fixtures in February, where we :

Milan away, X
Fiorentina away L
Fiorentina W
Juve away L
Napoli x

At the same time Napoli did this:

Roma away X
Udinese x
Lazio away x
Como away L
Inter x

Not gonna mention Atalanta, who has the worst home record in years, Bergamo was a fortress, but they switched their points grabs for away games.

Napoli and Atalanta both have some difficult fixtures coming up. Our fixture list is packed, with all the injuries too. But we are getting there!

Statistically we are 1st home team and 2nd away team by results. Its a good indication near 30th matchday.

Forza Inter!!

Napoli has a relatively easier schedule, but at this point you can't make claims because of obvious reasons. They have been shaky lately, and they've shown to have real issues against mid-table/bottom teams. Their most difficult matches out of these remaining ones are next two; against Milan and Bologna, the rest are "easy" on paper.
