You know how these Spanish managers are. Live or die playing "beautiful" football.

One of the reasons i would like to see Guardiola in Serie A. I don't think he would have it easy. Luis Enrique had a very difficult time at Roma.

Don't have one.
Como gives me major "we are just happy to be here" vibes, lol. Maybe someone got fooled by all the experience they signed, but that's a horrible way to build a team to stay in the league, imo. Think they are finishing dead last.

Days while Belotti was a competent striker are gone. The guy is completely washed up. He might score here or there, but his game is overall, is just painful to watch. I actually feel bad for him, because he isn't even that old.

On a side note, of course gobbi wasn't gonna let this one slip away. New coach enthusiasm, home match opener of the season against a league newcommer and so on.

Also no need to be too dramatic over first matchday results. Things will take its own place soon.

Just looked at Comos squad. I recognized three names. Belotti who has been awful since Covid, Cutrone who has been awful everywhere he’s been, and Pepe Reina who I’m pretty sure is 80 years old by this point in his life. That team might not win 15 points all year if Varane never gets healthy.

watching the Juve game.... playing a bunch of next gen players..... we would never ever do this.

Can't believe Como is starting a 41 year old goalie haha.... so guess it could be worst for us

At least some have the guts and doesn’t think youth is a problem in terms of achieving results, most other big teams outside Italy also don’t have an issue. It’s just us who seem to mentally stuck somewhere in the 1990s

Yeah we even couldn't because we don't have next gen team.

Couldn't care less about Milan but I know already that I will be pissed whole week cause Juventus is +2. Don't want to see that even after just first round.
Ah yeah, road to the title just started.

I still remember 3-4 years ago how bad he already was and yesterday he made the same mistakes again. Ridiciolous that he gets still considered by Serie A teams.
Starting a 41 year old Reina who’s essentially been washed for 10 years is exactly what @Universe was talking about on Inter Jections. Como has a lot of cool names but a lot of them checked out of serious football years ago. Fabregas as coach is also a big question mark.

It’ll be interesting to see how their season goes but it wouldn’t surprise me if they struggle.

Milan has decent squad tbh
Ehh don’t know if I agree with that, assuming you mean decent as good in this case:

Leao, Theo, and Maignan are the only ones who are truly gamebreakers on their day.
Pulisic, Pavlovic, Morata, Bennacer, Reijnders, Fofana, Okafor are all solid to very good and could maybe get better.
Chukwueze, Camarda are interesting but unproven talents.
Then there’s an exhaustive list of mediocre to crap players like Tomori, Thiaw, Saladmaker, Jovic, Calabria, Gabbia and basically everyone else.

Add in a mediocre ass coach like Fonseca— I’m seeing a 3rd to 5th place side. No self respecting inter fan would take a single one of those players in the starting eleven other than maybe Maignan. I’d take Juve’s squad over there’s any day of the week.
