then the year where he went in EL semifinal with Juve, and still won scudetto.
there was no competition in Serie A in season 2013-14, both us and Milan were destroyed financially, Roma's main striker was Destro, with the tactic of hoofing the ball to Ljajic and Gervinho and Napoli was trying to build a new style with Rafa Benitzez after Mazzarri had left, and and the other main competition was Fiorentina who kept shooting themselves in the foot.

He had a team that could have won the Champions League, he got KO'd in a relatively easy group (Copenhagen, Galatasaray and Real Madrid) by getting just 1 win and failed to reach the EL final which was at their home.

Why do you always feel the need to create a false narrative around Conte of all fucking people?

Yes and no. Maybe depends on your definition of "celebrating".

I'd describe this more as a "fist pump" situation. Happy the result turned out an acceptable one for us. Be glad about that, but now it's up to our boys to make it count. We're gonna have to wait about 24 hours to know what comes of that so might as well accept the momentary happiness while it lasts. (And since this is yet another game taking place while I'm at work, it'll be even more than 24 hours before I can see the game and react in here. Hopefully the post-game commentary is muted, lol.)

yeah it's more from the mental aspect, after getting humiliated by viola thursday you're getting another chance to make up the gap. if we don't win tomorrow, that's 3 games without a W. there's not gonna be many more chances, similar to 21/22 where we had like 3 chances to overtake bilan and failed and then they went on a mad run end of season

I dont understand why people are thanking Udinese, like they played to help us. No they didnt. That same Udinese will do anything to fuck us too. Good result but it wont matter shit if we fuck up again tommorow.

You geniunely don’t understand why people are thanking a team that took points from our main Scudetto-rival in a tight championship race, throwing us a life-line?

Has the act of being a total, unrelenting shitposter all over this forum finally clouded whatever last remnant of intelligent thought that might’ve been left in your brain so much so, that celebrating that fact is worthwhile is lost to you? Seems like it.

The end result is Napoli dropped points, no one gives a single shit if the Udinese bus is playing ‘Pazza Inter Amala’ on the bus home or not.

Don't have one.
A few days ago I mentioned what could happen if napoli get themselves in an "Oh shit we can win the league" situation and tonight was the good example of that. They had a very tiny match point given that it is only february and they folded. Let's hope for some few more fuckups from them, and hopefully us retuning to our usual as well.

Watching Napoli, it’s pretty shocking that they are even on the pace that they are. Conventional logic would suggest that an aging Lukaku and Politano as their biggest attacking threats and Juan Jesus in defense won’t be sustainable for another few months, but with Conte at the helm— they have very good odds. Let’s call it what it is and say it’s especially lucky that they have a coach who is a league specialist and a drastically reduced fixture load compared to their competition. This same Napoli would not be doing anywhere near as well as they are in serie A with a comparable amount of fixtures as inter.

It isn’t a given Napoli will carry on as you would expect, but their schedule to close out the season is even easier than ours and we all know Conte just needs workhorses and not footballers. No point in crying about it. That’s just what you have to overcome if you want to be the champs.

Well I added 9€ so we had enough in the end.

This was what we all needed to start our week on a positive note. Let's hope Inter will respond on the pitch and then we can all relax watching Italian teams scrambling to get through in midweek European games while we are chilling till Sunday.
Instead we'll lose 0-1 to Viola and bbilan & jube win their CL games

Napoli screwed it up because they know that we won't win vs Fiorentina. They are just saving some energy for later

Between you two, one look the glass half full, one look it half empty and here comes the disparity :D

- Mathematically Napoli gained one more point, increasing their gap from three to four. You see them dropping, he sees them gaining.
- If we win the team that destroyed us 3-0 with half their bench just a couple of days ago, the gap is 1 point. Then it's the time to celebrate.
- If not, we have one less round with a wider gap. Only 14 left.

See how important that "if" is?

When we crash out in UCL then its 50-50 , not right now.

But they have dropped points in 2 weekends now while totally rested so Nipples can dig their own grave soon if it continues.

in 20 years there was like only 3-4 times where there was competition, let's not act like Serie A is Premier league. So based on your statement most of our scudettos from 05 to 2010 were "gifted" , cmon man.

"Gifted"?

Milan won CL in 2007
We won CL in 2010
Roma in 2008 was one of the best sides in the world (they beat Real Madrid home and away in R16 of CL)

Who said it was bad competition?

It went to the last matchday both in 2008 and 2010. The only times Juve had a serious competition in a span of 9 years were when they won it the first time with Conte (Muntari goal) and in 2017/18 when they robbed Sarri's Napoli. And it was decided even before the last matchday.

Thats pushing it abit.

Them winning away to Madrid was influenced to a big degree by Pepe getting a red card in the first half anyways.

Was Roma one of the top 8-10 sides of Europe, yes or no? Heck, even Milan was in the thereabouts in that conversation and Juventus in 2008-9 when they returned to Serie A.

Can you say the same about any Serie A side in 2012-13? Can you say that about any other Serie A side besides Juventus in 2013-14 and 2014-15?

All three of Roma, Milan and Juve of that era would eat this Roma, Milan and Juve alive.
