I know you ask facetiously, but the serious answer is they're at 87.1 points now.

I'm a lunatic who keeps a spreadsheet with a whole bunch of things. One of them is that I have a simple formula - ([points/GP]*38) - so the pace number automatically updates for each result. That's why I have those numbers on hand and cite them as often as I do.

To be clear - as I'm sure you know - I never actually have said Napoli will get 90 points or more. I've always caked my phrasing in hypotheticals. If the league-winning point total is in the low-to-mid 80s and we fail to get there, that's a much bigger failure than if the league-winning point total was 90+.

As another FWIW aspect - this is the second straight game Napoli's failed to win a game where they scored first, whereas that only happened once in the previous 15 games this season where they scored the first goal.

Too early to make definitive claims, but maybe just perhaps Napoli are starting to lose some steam momentarily. And their next game is away to Lazio so that doesn't figure to be easy either.

Yes and no. Maybe depends on your definition of "celebrating".

I'd describe this more as a "fist pump" situation. Happy the result turned out an acceptable one for us. Be glad about that, but now it's up to our boys to make it count. We're gonna have to wait about 24 hours to know what comes of that so might as well accept the momentary happiness while it lasts. (And since this is yet another game taking place while I'm at work, it'll be even more than 24 hours before I can see the game and react in here. Hopefully the post-game commentary is muted, lol.)
