Gobbi and bbilan are the same for me. Either winning it makes it a horrible season.
Yeah both suck but if they get 20th scudetto and we were ahead of them only a year ago, that will really hurt.

The only team I don't want to win Scudetto is Juve, everybody else, fair game, if you deserve it, you deserve it
Based on the selection, if jube do not win it, it will be huge failure for them.

They're both horrible indeed, but Italian football can't stand another ridiculous domination by Juve. For the league's sake they be must be halted for a while.

Step 1 get knocked out of Coppa as soon as possible I'd say.
Watching the Supercup just now and the commentator said the group stage games of CL will be closer together this year to accommodate the WC so we'll be playing twice a week for the majority of the first half of the season with a quick World Cup to recover then back to the second half of the season.

We sure did pick a great season to have 2 STs and 3 CBs for the season. Correa/Dzeko's combined 5 games a year don't count, nor does including DiMarco and Darmian as CBs.

Elimination from the group stage of the Champions League will largely determine which team wins the Scudetto.

Despite the money, I hope we get eliminated at the group stage because going any further is a waste of time. The group stage of Champions League football is our ceiling. Going any further, stretches our starting eleven too thin and and our bench is not capable of carrying the burden, filling in for the first team and ensuring that we still maintain our performance.

Ah, yes, cause we can financially afford to miss out on the money that even the first knockout stage would provide.

We're not in Pot 1 this year, though, so that's probably a moot point.

Ultimately, if the club makes it past the group stage they will need to have a good think about what competition we are going to prioritise. Because the one thing that is abundantly clear is that we still do not have the squad depth two fight on two separate fronts (Serie A and the Champions League).

I would definitely hold this position, because imo that's what helped Conte win it ad what fucked Inzaghi. But, with Inter and Suning in a state they are at there is no football/sport solution, outside of a miracle, for our situation. Whatever we do this season guarantees nothing if Inter can't find a way to generate waaaaay more than CL knockout stages provide.

We have better depth than last season. We just need another CB.

The only position we have better depth is the midfield. Our defense depth is a disaster, our wingback depth is weaker, our striker depth is unchanged (the talent of the starters just increased).

Keeper too, I guess.

You can call it even a super league if you want , but in a league where Immobile is top goal scorer almost every season even though he failed in all the attempts out of Italy and the likes of Ribery and Ibra can still start matches at that age , having chiesa-vlahovic-di maria si giving you the title unless you do a major fuck up
