I can already see it happening. Conte wanted Chiesa at Inter as a rwb. We turned to Hakimi when Comisso asked for 80m.
And the worst thing is they won't even need so many changes for Conte's 3-5-2.
RCB - Bremer -LCB
Chiesa - Pogba - Paredes - Locatelli - Kostic
Vlahovic - SS
They just need two quality side cbs and a seconda punta to play alongside Vlahovic. Conte back to Juventus would be back news for the entire league but i have already prepared myself for it and the situaton at Inter is so bad that we have more important things to worry about before looking at others.
Chiesa could work as wingback but I think Kostic won't. Specially for Conte who requires a lot of running. Kostic is not particularly fast and don't think he has legs and lungs for Conte's hound dog WB role.
Another thing is if Chiesa accepts wingback role but maybe Conte can make it happen.
But anyway, it's a scary thought Conte comes back. He doesn't need as much financial backing in Italy from the owners as he does in EPL. Because the competition is a lot worse. I doubt Juve's target is CL anymore, target is to get back to winning ways in Italy.
I'm not saying I'm buying (or not buying for that matter) any of the Conte to Juve rumors... but in case of it actually being true, it can only be a benefit for Spurs at the moment. Conte can manage without any stress of being fired and can get the best possible performance short-term at least. It can also make him less predictable for others in the league.
Especially given how he makes Spurs one of the title contenders, it wouldn't be out of character to bail after winning the title, just like he did with us. And everyone is happy.
