So true. I remember the derby last season when he hit the post in the last minute and referee called no foul despite him using his arm on Skriniar's head.

Compare that to Lukaku slightly nudging any defender and how easily they'll call a foul.

So 7 games played. All title contenders look like shit. We are 7th (12 points), 5 points behind the top of the table.

Before the Christmas break we have Torino(h), Sassualo(a), Bologna(h), Cagliari(a), Napoli(h), Spezia(h) and Verona(a). We better wake up.

And that shouldn't be the case for us. We should be on top shape, running for the Scudetto. We took steps forward last season, and this season we should be going full steam ahead with key additions to the squad (Hakimi, Vidal). But we've just fall flat. COVID is not an explanation, we have a deep squad.

While covid should not be an excuse, there are quite some teams underperforming with deep squads across europe.......
Looking at the standings across the top european leagues only ligue 1 and BL look like one would have expected.
Also we barely had a summer break and our schedule is tighter than usual...

Not saying it should explain away all of our problems or that we should not be doing better but it sure has an effect.

According to multiple sources, Fiorentina have decided to fire Beppe Iachini. The favorite to replace him is Cesare Prandelli.

They should get Spalletti. Or Sarri.

Easy schedule for Inter, even a slightly better version of us should come away with no defeats and qualify for the next round of CL. No denial, we are in trouble, but only if we don't employ what we 100% do have. If a lot of our players catch the virus others will as well.

I want this season to end already. This COVID stuff and our current form just ruined every enthusiasm I had at the start of the season. Conte's wierd team selection doesn't help the case as well.

Yup. I’m not sure Prandelli is much better than the likes of Iachini at this point. His last few jobs have been mostly short lived. Higher wages probably prevented them from bringing on Sarri or Spalletti I’d guess.

Spalletti deciding to suck Inter dry of every last penny is what prevented them from bringing on Spalletti.

Why our players are going to international duty? I certainly read on the forum that they are not allowed to travel.

It is a wonderful day for us, as the Italy squad is training in our centre and will play at the Mapei Stadium this evening,” said director Carnevali on Sky Sport Italia.

“We feel that they are watching down on us and cheering us on. "We’ll aim to qualify for the Champions League, because we owe that to them, it was Squinzi’s greatest wish to see Sassuolo in Europe’s premier competition.”.

I guess our team mentality is much weaker than sassuolo's? No wonder we could hardly win against them.

Juventus look like a competent club today. Perhaps they've turned the corner.

Sacking Iachnini was the right decision (hiring him was just retarded in the first place), but replacing him with Prandelli is just fucking :yao: An hour into his return debut and Fiorentina look worse than ever, losing 0-1 at home to fucking Benevento
