When you have players like Dybala, Ramsey, Rabiot, Bernadeschi, Costa, etc. as rotation/bench options, when you can sub in an 80mil defender when Chiellini goes down, it doesn't matter how shitty you play against the fodder teams that make up 75% of the league

Three unquestionable world-class players have arrived in Italy during the 2019/20 summer mercato.
One is in Milan, another in Florence and the third played last night as kicker for Brescia and almost converted from an InterRubinKazan-esque spot in the first half. He should have buried that running header towards the end, though: welcome back, Mario.

Apparently he was smoking inside the dressing room before the game: that's what I call a tribute to the legend himself, Dario Hubner.

The actual race for Tonali has been going since the last Serie B season and President Cellino was smart and lucky enough to add 38 more laps in Serie A. It's set to be a really tough head-to-head, barring problems/retirements.

Only saw the first half on my phone but I had another look today on a big screen, and yea, that Pjanic shirt grab I mentioned was an utter joke.

It's a blatant professional foul. He's not even disguising an attempt to win the ball. He's just super conspicuously grabbing Balotelli's shirt to prevent a counter attack.

TBH I have no problem with the foul itself whatsoever. It's taking one for the team. It's cynical defending and I would want my players to do the same to prevent a dangerous counter if we lost the ball in a vulnerable position.

But the fact that he wasn't carded is a disgrace. That's an indisputable, regulation yellow card, every day of the week, in every league in the world. It's like removing your shirt in celebration. It's an automatic, unquestionable yellow card. Just like shirt pulling, let alone a professional foul. But no yellow? good one.

Was it a game-changing foul or in the penalty box or a clear red? Obviously not. But it's the fact that fucking juve, and in particular this fucking cancer Pjanic, always get away with these "little" fouls is infuriating. The filthy prick always gets to play with complete impunity and then later gets subbed off after escaping 3 or 4 bookable offences. That flying elbow to Rafinha's face is something I will never forget and something I will always hold as indisputable evidence of the preferential treatment these cunts get.
