Juve looked to be cruising, and then Frosinone only real attack of the second half ended up in a goal

We could win the scudetto. All the other top teams seemingly can't get their shit together

Yessssss!

What the hell is going on here? Juventus losing points all over and we are suddenly not conceding? Wow.

The weird thing is that I haven't been impressed with us at all either, yet we're unbeaten.

We could win the scudetto.

We only have 2 more points than we did during Mazzari's debut season where we finished 5th. We usually start with a bang, and slump massively by late October.

We were lucky today with Hellas crossbar. Our defense wasn't good.

However, what matters is the points.

Mixture of luck, individual effort and convenient fixture list. Also a team organized enough to capitalize on all that = Inter 1st :)

I don't think we will. I think we've been very average this season, but so have all the other top sides. Sassuolo are probably the best team i've seen in Serie A this season.

I see that Juventus had 35 shots in their game for their one goal.

Then Juve's opponents like Genoa, Friosione and Udinese can also be considered convenient.

Small teams are tough opponents too, just in a different way. We can surely play much better but we're doing quite well, nothing held back.

I listed few other factors in mixture with "easier" opponents and home games, but yeah, there was nothing easy about our previous games. Verona for example hit the bar. Credit where it's due though -- excellent start by Inter!

The difference is that everyone else is slipping while we aren't. The biggest thing I remember from the mazzarri era was how we could never seem to win when our main competition dropped points. Right now that's all that seems to be happening.

5 wins/5 is a great start on paper but that's all it is, a great start. juve and roma's problems are psychological at this point, they've both been unlucky not to get more points. we've definitely played worse than both of them and we've been fairly lucky in most of our games. i recall roma won 5/5 for the past two seasons? we went on a seven game winning streak early in the season under strama? lazio was first from the sixth to the tenth matchday in 10/11 and they finished fifth?

Yeah, as long as we finish third I'm happy with this season. But if we're going to be +13 on Juve after next Sunday I will have second thoughts.

And as mentioned above, top 3 clubs haven't slipped as much as they did during our good season starts. Having a massive point advantage, even this early in the season, could play a physiological part aswell. Under Strama and Mazzarri, our good season starts were not even enough for 1st.
