People are confusing passion with ability.

He showed a lot of passion today - as any youth player making a debut would - but he didnt show much experience or composure. He was chasing everything, when he actually needed to relax and read the game better. He wasnt thinking with a clear head and kept throwing himself into things - hence the penalty and the red.

A 19 year old in basically his third Serie A match, doesn't do well, makes mistakes and gets shit on.. Geee I wonder why our joke of a youth project is stil basically at year 0.. It couldn't possibly have anything to do with patience or a lack there of..

A youth player is going to make mistakes, and that's absolutely fine, but I'm commenting on what his failures were here. He needs to improve upon those things to stand a chance of making it at Inter.

Also, consider when we debuted Benassi, Santon, Faraoni (for example). They all played at least average opening games.

He had a bad day - they can be formative for young players, hopefully he'll learn and come back stronger. I'm not sure if he's good enough for inter, but noone can say for sure yet.

Yes it's far too early to say, he is young therefore I'd rather focus on the positive aspect of his game

He needs to go back to Primavera. He is still too raw to play for Inter.

He is fast, I'll give him that.

We can build a triathlon/marathon team with Donkor, Medel, Nagatomo, and Obi.

Perhaps we will earn more money for the actual football team with the prizes of those competitions.

Not talking about Donkor or any primavera player in specific, but we need effective players, not talents. We're not the type of team to develop talents. We need players that can contribute from day 1. If we dont have EFFECTIVE players we will go down the shit hole.

Players like Kovacic, Coutinho, Dodo, Donkor, do more harm than good to us, unfortunately, until they figure out their best position and are the complete package. We have a shit management with shit football development.

What good is an average or even outstanding opening game if it lead to nothing.. None of the players you named are still with us.. If Donkor never becomes a starter for us, oh well, why must ever youth team player be starting 11 quality or bust.. Is there really anything wrong in having a primavera player as a back up and saving the 5-8 million we'd have to spend on getting one? Him needing to improve is obvious, but I'd rather see us give him time and perhaps let him do it here, as a back up than to send him away like all the others..

Que?

Why is this going down on the youngsters? Especially when the problem is the core of our team.. How many impact making youngsters are there that aren't surrounded by even better experienced players? It's alot easier to not look and play like shit when you're not surrounded by a team of lazy fucks who barely run and don't know how to play like a team, because you have one guy who is almost certainly braindead and constantly trying to create a goal he scored 4 years ago at Porto, another who is basically a Chilean Gargano, a lazy Brazilian who only moves when he has the ball, etc. etc.

On a better team with better movement, Kovacic doesn't miss place so many passes, and Donkor isn't put into the situation he was put in today.. Good teams mask the youngsters weakenesses until they are good enough to be a strength..

According to Pedulla Donkor is on his way to Bari on loan with an option to make the move permanent and a buy-back clause for Inter. Camara might join him with the same type of deal.
I'm interested to see how they develop, hopefully the reports about the buy-back clause are true.

They probably are because there are no more co-ownship deals in serie A from this season.

Donkor's agent Patrick Bastianelli (also the agent of Andreolli and Crisetig) confirmed the formula cited above. This thread can be moved.
