I thought it'd be a nice idea to bring this old idea back. :) For those who are not common with the idea, this is a thread where we get to ask all kind of questions with the interviewee. Shall I begin? :)

1) Were you born in Italy or in NY? How often do you go back to Italy?
2) What are you working as right now? Or are you still studying? Tell us about it.
3) Which managerial stats impressed you the most throughout those great research that you've done?
4) When and how did you start supporting Inter?
5) How did you come across this forum? Have you been a regular member elsewhere before?
6) Who do you hate more, Juve or Milan?

Q-1. Considering all the useless stats that you post through out the forum day and night, combined with the fact that for some reason you are always here, do you have absolutely no life at all? Does Vito actually exist outside the FI forum?

1) Were you born in Italy or in NY? How often do you go back to Italy?

I was born in Schenectady, NY. It is a small city which is about 15 minutes from the capital of NY, Albany. My parents were both born in Italy. My father was born in Broccostella, a small town in the city of Sora of the Frosinone province. My mother was born in Fontechiari, another small town in the province of Frosinone. My mother came to Schenectady when she was 13 and my father when he was 16. They met each other and found out that they lived only 20 minutes away from each other in Italy!

Believe it or not, I have only been to Italy once in my life. It was in 2006, 2 days after the WC final. I have tons of family in Italy, but because my father owns his own business, we never had the time to go visit them. Now that I have my own job and my own money, I would like to go back to Italy every couple years.

2) What are you working as right now? Or are you still studying? Tell us about it.

I went to college and received a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Computer Science. I recently obtained a job in April of this year as a Web Applications Developer for the New York State Office of Children & Family Services (OCFS). We basically build web applications that handle payroll, purchasing, shipping and all the other kind of things the OCFS does. I was brought in to head a project to convert the physical check adoption subsidy payments into a debit card system. Since this project is not ready, I do not have too much to do and help out other people if they need it. This is a huge reason I am always on here. During 8am-4:30pm EST, I am at a computer and I continually check this forum to help pass the time. So unfortunately for shahz and other people that hate me, until my project is ready, you will continue to see a lot of me!

3) Which managerial stats impressed you the most throughout those great research that you've done?

The most impressive thing by far is just how incredible Jose Mourinho's league coaching stats are. We all know how great his form has been coaching in 3 different leagues, but until it was compared to other great names, I just did not see how impressive it was. I have done stats on a great amount of managers in my thread and Mourinho still stands atop the list!

4) When and how did you start supporting Inter?

Back in Italy, the natural team to support for my father would have been Lazio. In fact almost my entire family supports Lazio. However, when he was a child there was only 3 teams that were really successful at that time, and as a child you always want to support the successful team. Those 3 were the same big three of today: Inter, Milan, and Juventus. Since his older brother, my uncle, decided to become a Milan fan, my father decided to be the annoying little brother and supported Milan's biggest rival. Well 25 years or so later I was born and after supporting Inter for that long, the first thing he taught me to love was the game of soccer. The second thing was Inter. From the age of 5 or 6, my father used to bring me every single Sunday to his local bar to watch Inter play. My father isn't the most talkative man, and being a strict Italian man, he is not one to discuss his feelings with others. But whenever we had absolutely nothing to talk about, we could always talk about Inter and I think that is truly something special. I am known to be one of the most optimistic fans on this forum, and this has partly to do with the fact I have supported this club when they won nothing, but also because of the fact that my father always was very pessimistic like others on here and I always spent hours trying to convince him that things could be better or we didn't do everything wrong.

5) How did you come across this forum? Have you been a regular member elsewhere before?

I actually do not remember how I came across this forum at all. It could have been when I was searching for Inter videos, but I do not remember. This is the only forum that I have been a regular member off. I am registered at many forums, but I hardly post once a week in them, let alone 16 times a day as I do in this one!

6) Who do you hate more, Juve or Milan?

I actually have no complete reason for this, but I have always hated Juventus much more than Milan. I am guessing it is because they are just a more successful team than Milan, or because more of my friends are Juve fans, but I do not know for sure.

Well maybe some of us enjoy his stats. At least he's doing something for the lot of us, whether you find it useful or not. You should at least respect that and express your grudges to him via private means.

I like this interview thing btw :)

My real name is Vito...

I think I have a lot of enemies because I enjoy arguing with people, especially when it comes to Inter or football in general. When people tend to share a different view than me, then I like to argue my view and even though I may come across as being a jerk, I really am not.

I guess when two people like this go head to head, enemies are created...even though I do not consider anyone an enemy on here because outside of this forum I do not know any of you guys...

Great answers. Love your explanation instead of the 1-2 sentences answers. :)

Suneet, in one way I guess it's the reason why even a great member like Frisko also had his fair share of heat & beef. I think Frisko & vito are brothers from another mother btw. They're both very optimistic about the team and take a pessimistic point of view as an insult to Inter. This is just my 2 cents. Or maybe it's his New York attitude. :p

Now come on folks, now is your time to interrogate him!

1) Favorite TV series?
2) Do you like going to the city that's so great they named it twice? If not, what's your favorite US city?
3) Favorite food?

That's nothing actually. I managed to have something like 20-25 posts per day during my college freshman years with all those free time. :embarass:

My mother came to Schenectady when she was 13 and my father when he was 16. They met each other and found out that they lived only 20 minutes away from each other in Italy! (Similar story to my grandparents who were from the same village in Ireland but never met till they moved to London, so it was interesting to read about your parents' experience).

Believe it or not, I have only been to Italy once in my life. It was in 2006, 2 days after the WC final. I have tons of family in Italy, but because my father owns his own business, we never had the time to go visit them. .

6) Who do you hate more, Juve or Milan?

I actually have a complete reason for this, I have always hated Juventus much more than Milan because although Milan's record isn't exactly clean, see totonero and the more in-depth details of calciopoli for instance, Juve have always been by far and away the biggest thieves and would indeed steal candy from a baby or even a pension from a frail old woman given half a chance.

Fixed.

1) Favorite TV series?

My favorite TV series of all time is Seinfeld. My favorite current TV series would definitely be a tie between It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

2) Do you like going to the city that's so great they named it twice? If not, what's your favorite US city?

Believe it or not, I do not really like NY City. I enjoy visiting it for a couple days a year, but would go nuts if I had to spend a week or more there. I am from a small town, so I do not think I would be able to take the smells, sights and sounds of a big city. Plus I freak out when I am stuck in traffic for more than 15 minutes, so I think I would kill someone if I was in traffic for hours like many people are in the city.

3) Favorite food?

This is a very tough question! Although I am Italian and I have grown up with the best homemade pasta anyone could ask for, I also enjoy many other types of food. I love Chinese food, Mexican food and of course, the pasta!

1) What is your favourite color?

Blue. It is one of Inter's colors plus it is the nickname of the Italian national team ;)

2) Do you watch regularly any another team?

Can't say that I do. I watch football whenever it is on TV, but I do not set alarms, cancel plans, or record games in order to watch any other team.

3) In your opinion, which league is better in the world? Why?

Unfortunately I would have to say that the EPL is the strongest league in the world. I hate to admit it, because I absolutely hate that league, but their strength in Champions League is too hard to ignore.

5) Do you think Milan won't be qualified in CL for next year?

I believe Milan will somehow crawl into the top 4 by the end of the season. I can only see them getting 4th place though, nothing higher than that.

6) Can you tell us something about your experience as a football player?

I began playing football when I was about 4 years old. My father coached me my entire life and thanks to having a younger brother and my love for the game, I was able to practice every single day after school. Because I did not play for any major club team in my area, I was not highly recruited for college football. But I was able to have two very solid seasons in high school which got some smaller universities attention. I turned down the chance to play at those colleges because I wanted to challenge myself and play a higher level. I was offered a trial with small Division 1 college in my area so I went for it and after a 4 day trial I was selected for the team. It remains one of my proudest moments. I played 4 years at the college, but was never in the coaches plans, even though I had great performances in training. The coach was not one to give other players a chance even though our record was nothing special. He was fired right after I graduated and the new coach, using players that were on the bench alongside me, had the most wins in the history of the program the following year. I always wonder what could have been if I was given an adequate chance, but some things just happen for a reason.

I now play in a few indoor leagues in my town and coach a U-17 boys team. I hope to someday coach at the high school where I played. I was given an opportunity to play for a team in Italy, but being that they are part of the Prima Categoria, Italy's 8th division, the money would not be good enough to support myself in Italy.

If a genie appeared and gave you 3 wishes, what would you ask for?

1. The skills to be the best soccer player in the world. (Ultimately to play for Inter, because being the best, I would most likely be able to play for any team I would like haha.)

2. A healthy family.

3. The answer to all of Earth's questions. (Cures for diseases, how the pyramids were built, etc.)
