Why so serious about youth?

Its simply more interesting. First team is boring - everyone is well scouted, everyone is thoroughly discussed. On the youth team you can spot players no one has even heard of. You cant judge a player on "reputation" - I loved the U15 cup final for that exact reason. No pretense about any of the players, you judge them on performance exclusively. In some ways, its football at its purest - you cant find that in the modern professional game anymore.
