So you like David Mitchell, what is your favourite peep show quote?
I binged watched all the show in a few days. The theme song became so annoying it still haunts me.
What part of London do you live in? What do you think of the city, what are your favourite parts?
Brixton, currently. I can't say I've seen much of London, because I work 6 days a week. I do like Brockwell Park though, which is quite near where I live.
What I like about London is how anonymous it is, especially compared to Malta. Literally nobody knows you here.
I'm going to be an English teacher like you pretty soon, any advice? I'm doing one-to-one tuition rather than classroom, guessing its a big difference.
It is quite a big difference. Even when I have given private tuition, it was within an institution. The best advice I can give is to enjoy it. Whenever you're in doubt about something, bullshit your way through it. You'll most probably know much more than your students. Also, teach the students how to teach themselves. They'll learn more, and your job becomes easier.
The pay's pretty shit, though.
Any good Maltese footballers you like? Or anything interesting to say about Maltese football at all?
Never in my life have I actively followed Maltese football. The highlight of recent Maltese football history is when a guy playing for Coventry in the Championship scored twice in some cup game and knocked Man U out. It was all over the local news
I can't say I have a favourite footballer because I don't know any one. Although one of my old neighbours is a GK for one of the teams.
Do you watch or take part in any other sports?
When I lived in a house with 3 Kiwis I watched quite a lot of rugby (which I liked) and cricket (which is boring as fuck). I've never been good at sports because my eyesight is not good at all and my hand-eye co-ordination is even worse. I used to be quite fast, though.
