We have Maicon who can replace Figo at ANY time, whether its during a match or before it.

Just saw the highlgihts..lol that game looked hilarious.

Matrix's red card (2 yellows) was a terrible decision. The chances we had were shockingly easy..lol at Solari's weird end chance, I think he hit Adriano instead then missed the easy rebound by CM's.

LOL @ Maicon missing fromt that close too, but what a build up..that guys awesome.

But all in all, damnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn What a free kick by Recoba.
That left foot still got it.

inter played a decent match today nothing too exciting. we were unlucky a few times- crespo with the post, recoba with the bar, and solari putting ball wide. the 0-0 tie is satisfying. a few things i noticed, vieira and cambiasso were good defensively but offensively they were crap, there was no central mid support on the attack a few counter attacks were grosso and stanko or figo and maicon leading it. Materazzi's sending off was in no way deserved both offenses were questionable. Samuel i thought played well. Im liking Grosso more and more everyday. Maicon played very well, but i still think j.z shouldve started. Ibrahimovic showed some good skill. Crespo was kind of slow. When Solari came on i thought he did well he played some decent balls from the left flank. All in all it wasnt a bad display from inter, i mean 0-0 is dissapointing but remember sporting played a pretty good game, theyre not a bad team by anymeans.
Saturday is the day, i think Ibra/Adri will play upfront. Things should be different.

Well said my friend, cheer girls? I was more intrigued by the dancing Frogs :boogy: watched the match pretty late, but from what I’ve seen all the new boys settled quite err…delightfully.

I think Inter played a good game and there are some good signs here and there. In the first half Maicon was amazing with his runs, Samuel and Matrix were solid at the back, Vieira was dictating the midfield and Crespo was only lacking match fitness.

In the second half though, tiredness was evident and the team slowed down, but I liked how we reacted after the sending-off. The team was calm and we never looked like being down to 10 men, instead we created more scoring chance towards the end and the referee denied us a clear penalty (Adriano's episode).

I agree with Mancini; the team is OK and some individuals need to improve their fitness and all will be well.

I'm really looking forward to Saturday's clash with Roma.

I saw in the highlight, Figo passed to Stankovic and Stankovic put a pin-point cross on the right hand side for Crespo to head. How come both Figo and Stankovic were on the right at the same time, was Stankovic more of a free role midfield? or was Figo the guy who could go both flanks?

I think that Crespo and Ibra both did well,but they'll have to improve their understanding...but this was their first game together,Ibrahimovic started well but he looked kind of tired and didn't run to much and so did Crespo,he had some great chances wich he usually doesn't miss but i think it's important that he had chances,he's allways at the right place at the right time

Figo and Stankovic movement aims at making way for our fullbacks to go forward. I think the formation was fine and Maicon caused havoc in Sporting's left flank. He's like our secret weapon at the moment and I hope the team plays in the same way as we need continuity.

Of course you're right.

The problem is that the biggest danger on the flanks, were doing our side backs, and that's not right. They are just reinforcment, the biggest danger on the wings should be from wingers. That's why they are there, and that's what is the biggest weapon in 4-4-2 formation.

Have not seen the incident, couldn't care less as its only pre-season but you'd have to be a moron of massive proportions ot be sent off in a pre-season match, just ruins the friendly nature of the game.

It sure could ruin the friendly atmosphere , but yesterday it didnt ´cause it was obvious that the referee made two errors and sent him off.

But...whatever really. I dont really care/mind if you - and all the others - hate/despise him because of his reputation.

Well, I think it was you (sorry if I'm wrong) who was complaining about lack of play throught the middle.. With Deki and Figo moving in and becoming AM we are reinforcing that area of our play and since we have great wing-backs we are still capable of playing down the wings..
I think it's good this way, much better that having pure wingers who stick by the line "not allowing" our back to go up..
Like I said, we have 4 great wing-backs.. why the hell not to use them to the full potential...

I wasn't complaining about lack of play through the middle (must be someone else) but I would sign under this opinion. Pushing Dejan or Figo there does not make things right. Dejan is no creative player, Figo is, but we know it is be tougher for him every month.

It would be great playing with 4-4-2 with 2 defensive midfielders in the center, but if we would have very, very good wingers. Than we could destroy opposite teams with latteral actions.

Neverless I'll wait and see how the game will look in Supercoppa against a very good team. Until now it's all just friendly.

there's nothing to complain about yesterdays game. remember most of this guys have been together for not more than two weeks. i think that yesterdays game was a very positive one. Maicon is really great but i think that he can't play as a Rb, he should be mor like a right winger, because his defencive skills were very poor. ibrahimovich played very well as his second game after a long break, and Crespo still got the instinct, The middlefield was great but lacked a bit of fantasy in pusshing forward. Overall i'm very happy, because inter is showing signs of forming a great GROUP, and thats the most important thing.

So you are basicly saying that pure wingers would be much more better in cutting in than Figo and Deki.. Well I don't belive it's quite so.. Cos wingers skills are crossing, speed and dribling.. While if you play in the center you have to have, in short, better pass, good "overview" of the game and shot..
Deki isn't quite creative but many are refering he had a best time under Zac when he was playing just behind the striker.. I do not remember his play from that stage very well and I really haven't seen many matches from that time.. but I remember him against Basel two years when he was cutting in a lot and was great at it.. he, well, penetrated enemy's diffense like nothing..
He has decent pass and dribling and a very good shot.. We could have better player than him out there but he's ok I would say..
So I belive they will do just fine if they let wing backs do the job on the wing..

Sorry, I now see you were refering to class wingers? Were offcourse class players would do fine.. It's because they're class and they are class just because of that.. But class players isn't so easy to get..

Download the k-lite codec pack. It should solve all your problems. I had a similiar problem a few weeks ago. Downloaded k-lite and now everything is fine.
