Choosing easy fixture to open a match thread :einstein:

Will still choke :yao:

I would love to see a dominating offensive performance with a huge win, in order to inject more confidence into the team for the upcoming harder fixtures. No excuses for Eriksen, Sensi and Sanchez (if fit) not to start. That’s all.

Amen brother. Put in Eriksen, let Hakimi start again and maybe let Lukaku rest a bit. As long as I don't see Gags I am happy. Yesterday's performance would have gotten Eriksen subbed out, but Gags still remains on the pitch while offering nothing.

As you said against Spezia there is no excuse and I really hope that Eriksen has a good game - even if it is just to show that he has still a value and that other teams would buy him.

Should be the opposite of our performance against Napoli.

If Sanchez is fit I expect Lukaku to get a much needed break with Verona mid week.

There is no right time for Radu. Not even in the Coppa where we face Fiorentina.

Actually it won't be easy. I watched Spezia against Lazio, and they were the better team but few cheap mistakes cost them the match. They are practicing nice possession football.

inter does this thing where it makes me afraid of favorable situations

Let's rotate all 11 players and go down by 2 goals in the first half.

I beg to differ. If he's an utter disaster we can sub him out. Otherwise we might as well just fire all backup GKs if we are not giving them a chance to play.

My only concern for Radu is whether he commands the respect of the back 3. Even on a shit day for Handa, he could still yell and shout at De Vrij with no consequence. Whether Radu could do that when say, Skriniar wasn't concentrating properly, that might be an issue.

I wouldn’t put too much faith into Conte to mix things up, so I expect to see largely the same starting line up against Spezia. I can see Sensi being slotted into the LCM spot, he needs to get to back into form after those everlasting injuries. Regarding the other midfielders, I’d be fine with Gagliardini in there, as we should be able to beat them comfortably no matter what. Not sure about about Vidals fitness level, but he shouldn’t be rushed. That leaves either Brozovic or Barella for the last spot in our midfield, both of which could use a break. Unfortunately that means Eriken will be left on the bench once more. Hakimi should get a start in this one and I wouldn’t be surprised to see DDA occupying one of the wide CB spots.

Anyway, a toothless performance like yesterdays I expect from someone like 68 year old Mary when I give her a tenner. That’s something that can not repeat itself.

I am worried about fatigue and injuries. The players looked exhausted in the last game, this tight schedule after a minimal summer break is starting to show. The injuries mean that Conte does not have the luxury to rotate much and keep things fresh.

The winter break cannot come fast enough for Inter. Conte will have to squeeze the last bits of energy left in the players till then.

Spezia will park the bus and Inter has no idea to score.

Sanchez out, Lukaku needs a rest, go with one striker to start if Pinamonti is injured? Or use Frog as the second striker that's plan amphibian! Let's hop to it by Jove!

I wonder if Kolarov gets a start in this one to give Bastoni a rest. I was also thinking he'd probably give D'Ambrosio a start given it's a 'smaller' game and D'Ambrosio scored that important goal for us vs. Cagliari.

As a left-wing back, I don't even care who plays. Not sure who is more average between Perisic and Young at this point. Maybe even start Darmian on the left and play Hakimi on the right.

Brozovic is injured, but hoping to see Vidal-Barella-Sensi in midfield as we know Eriksen won't start.
