Mancini is asking too much from Figo and Solari by placing them on the wrong opposite flanks. Meaning, Mancini is asking them not only to beat their man but also to cut in.
This is a normal tactic though and I expect them to change flank soon.
About that penalty, the 'handball' was by Stankovic, not Nico. I think it would be harsh though as it was unintentional.
Mancini HAS to switch Solari and Figo soon. It's obvious that the winger-cutting-in tactic has worked abysmally so far. We have 2 strikers who are extremely good in the air and to get more crosses, we need to play a left-footed winger on the left, vice versa.
Besides, I believe to play the winger-cutting-in tactic, you need to play the ball on the ground a lot. And we need Ibra for that, who is suspended for this match.
