We obviously know how to play against team like this. Same was against Farca. Problem is when we play against inferiors when we need to break the bus.
Disagree entirely. Games against teams that play a high line over the last 2 years has been our kryptonite due to the complete lack of pace up top.

Milan have been fucking us the last year in exactly that manner so good to see this type of performance today

If only Dimarco, Darmian and Lukaku has clinical finishing....

What a pass from barella only for lukaku to send it to the tribune.

But win is a win.

We move

Yea I agree, we seems to be doing pretty good and stable against significant inferior teams. I would almost say we know exactly how to bully, control and dissect bus parking teams.
The part I do not agree on is I don't think we suck against high d-line, think Barca.

Team seems fresh, and they clearly worked on the defense set up and plays. Things Inzaghi mentioned before details are important, and he learnt from it.
Keep it up!

I did not expect to see us dominate Napoli. But that's what happened. It could have been an ugly blowout for them very easily. So many quality chances squandered early on, and I'm not upset about it because it feels like this team is rounding the corner.

The forwards looked great and Lautaro will get hot as well. This might be a very scary team. I am full of hope right now at least. Well that and alcohol.

I was not reffering to significant inferiors, I was reffering to Lazios, Udinese,Bolognas.. compact teams with mediocre players.

We can still catch up Fucking Milan which is only 3 pts ahead.
Napoli will start choking now like they do every year, so no worries about that.

Yep, last night win was more of a result of how cohesive we looked and players played with great energy. However, i m really doubtful how much of that energy will be visible in a couple of weeks time. As is said in the past about inzaghiball we need to play every game on max rpm, so we can look like we did last night, and i m afraid that's not sustainable at all.

I can't believe we actually played as good as we did. I was expecting Napoli to go super saiyan on us

This game made me sad at the end because we are probably losing Skriniar :(

Tribune? It was slightly over the bar.

What a game guys I think we like playing teams who play like Naples because it can make us hurt them when it counts similar to Barcelona. Let them keep the ball limit their attempts on goal and then pounce.

We have a decent run of games until the derby, we might still be in this.

Probably our best performance this season, up there with the Barca games. That said, we always beat Napoli at home. I wasn't worried for a second.

I think for the squad, mentally, there's a huge difference playing the big teams like Napoli who, let's face it, are a much, much smaller team than us, even if they are the form team this season, and "legacy" big teams like Milan and juve who are historically bigger clubs than us, regardless of turbulence in recent years.

The team's mentality has regressed tremendously under Limone and I want to see a performance like today against a Milan or juve. We had the chance considering we played against an injury-ravaged juve C team but naturally we shat the bed like fucking losers.

Still, another step in the right direction. But this is Inter, so I'm sure that while we're still celebrating this great win we'll be brought back down to earth with the news that Skriniar is leaving on a free and we've replaced him by renewing de Vrij for another 4 years.

We're better when we sit back and counter teams.
Juve just give us the ball and fucked us on the counters. Against milan with limone we usually go out to dominate all over the pitch. The 3-0 win in the coppa last year we sat back more. I hope we do the same again. Giving milan space to run into is suicide. Hopefully he's learned.

Additionally. Why the fuck were we getting caught on counter attacks in the last 5 minutes. This team is full of clowns.

What a pass from barella only for lukaku to send it to the tribune.
It was a decent shot by Lukaku but went a little too high. Definitely not as high as you make it sound. And there was no corner, no idea why people believe Lukaku there

Only issue is that he always finishes those with a low shot, even with the weakeer foot, so sending it high wasn't a good sign.
Barella didn't really try to make the pass the way it happened but it looks spectacular.

Im ready for Dzeko showing Lakaka how to score goals as a 7 year older dude.
We'll definitely win and all problems will be covered for a while. I watched the same movie 1000 times before.
Congrats for the predictions.

Was that Ventola I saw?
Yes it was Nicola.

Its fucking amazing how many opportunities we need to score, and it doesn't help that on every miss players act like someone died.

The referee is giving every 50-50 to them
Btw, this ref is pice of trash...
Funny you wrote this. I guess he was playing his role?
Meanwhile Napoli fans are raging about Samir Handanovic’s advice to referee Simone Sozza before last night’s game with Inter!
Napoli fans were already unhappy with Sozza’s appointment, given that the 35-year-old comes from the AIA section of Milan. There are even more complaints now that a video showing Handanovic talking to the referee inside the tunnel has emerged.

The experienced goalkeeper was on his way to the pitch before kick-off and told Sozza: ‘Don’t blow the whistle too frequently.’

The video was shown on TV last night and has been shared by several fans on social media today, fuelling controversy after Napoli’s first defeat this season.

It was just a recommendation :yao:

Why is that? I literally can't wait.

It's about the ownership situation and especially the news Zhang have decided to keep the club for the foreseeable future.

Nothing to do with winning or losing for me.

Footballing wise things are nowhere near as bad as pre Calciopoli or banter era. I have seen far worse on the pitch in my years as an Inter fan so that's not the issue.

My issue is there's no hope for the future under this ownership. Nothing to look forward to. We could win Scudetto and reach CL semis and still nothing would change. We would still have no money to rejuvenate the squad which is badly needed. We would still have to sell starters in order to meet Suning financial demands and we would still have no adequate funds to buy proper replacements. Even the traditional selling clubs make serious investments with the money they get from sales. We can't even do that.

So i have no motivation left to watch this never ending circle that started in 2021. The current policy only leads to downsizing. We're just trying to slow down the process.

Anyway, i don't want to spoil the festive mood after this match. Very important win and hopefully we can have a great second part of the season.

Got it. I literally didn't followed anything regarding ownership and transfers since our last game. Probably nothing changed since the summer where I already expressed in how bad state I think we are and that I was not optimistic at all for this season. Want to enjoy games now, this team is not great but solid. And Inzaghi not being our former manager so far (which I though would happen but not cause it would be mainly his fault) is already a mini miracle to me. Standards are low I guess but let's enjoy in what we have till some better days and new ownership. This team deserve support. We have a chance in CL,we beat unbeatable Napoli, let's hope we can achieve something the rest of the season and we will worry about the rest in the summer.
