I agree with most of the players, but I feel like you are undervalue Carlos Augusto.
Dude has been reliable as fuck and been decent in attack.

Will probably shake his up his next season with us and provide far more assists and goals.

I think this is related to the expectations. Some Inter fans became a bit delusional, believing that we are top 3 team in the world and can easily beat everyone on the road to final, except Real and City. And now they faced a rude awakening.
Anyway, I believe that we are still better team than Atletico overall, but missed most of our chances while they were more clinical when it was needed.
Maybe it's up to our players being too arrogant as well. We saw it once, when we lost the title to Milan. Let's enjoy that we are dominating the league with very low recourses spent and just got as a bonus everything else.

The UCL exit still hurts to the point I completely lose interest in our upcoming matches for now.

Maybe due to the fact that nothing is intriguing anymore for this season as we have pretty much secured the Scudetto at this point.

They where talking us up like we where some sort of Manchester City, it’s was just utterly delusional to an unhealthy degree. People thought we where better than Atl madrid, that we would beat a year long curse in Spain and that against a man who only lost 10% of all home games in CL… it was more then just a bit delusional.

It hurts, but it wasn't in our targets to win the CL. I think everyone would have accepted winning only scudetto. Personally im enjoying every second of it. Watching our team dominating the league is a satisfaction. After all we need to consider for how many years we were hoping for a trophy, even qualifying for CL was impossible. And look now... it's also not guaranteed in our history that we would comeback so strong. For example:Last scudetto before 2005 was in 1989. And of course our banter era after 2010. We had long great periods of success but also long dark times, sadly.
Second star is a big archievement, as i said we should enjoy that, no one knows what the future will bring. My hope is that we will never fall again so low when our winning cycle will end...

They could and should have scored earlier then they did, it was fully deserved they won that game… when you play as badly as we did and didn’t show up, you don’t deserve anything regardless of how you played in the first encounter.
