Milan Team Doctor Arrested In Manchester

Mini-crisis for the Rossoneri just hours before they are set to kick-off the mouthwatering Champions League tie against Alex Ferguson’s Man Utd.
AC Milan team doctor Armando Gozzini was arrested in Manchester this morning for allegedly making obscene gestures in the hotel the Rossoneri picked to stay in ahead of their Champions League match against the Red Devils.

The police were called in by an unnamed woman, who is a masseur of the Lowry hotel.

She said Gozzini, 44, indecently exposed himself while she was performing a massage late last night.

Gozzini is currently still in jail.

I don't agree with those who say that we should play with 2 DMs' to stop :yuck: AC Milan :yuck:

I do think that it should be FIRE against FIRE.

It's clubs like Reggina, Atalanta who puts WATER on FIRE, not us. Atleast, this season when we seem to be doing well in offence, atleast for the few games.

Since playing with 2DMs', I have ot seen Inter play that kinda attacking football at all, coz nothin comes from our midfield. Our midfield seems to be clueless (in offence), except for Veron. Stankovic is out of form, but hopefully he will play great against Milan on Sunday.

By playing with 2DMs', we will only help them as they will try to dominate us. C.Zanetti might end up with a red card or so on. He's playing well compared to his performance few matches back, but that doesn't mean he should be played. I have been yelling on and on, it would had been good had Stankovic also been doing very well, but that's no the case and if Veron also plays a rare bad match, then we are finished. I guess, Milan will try to stop Veron to stop Inter. I very much hope Stankovic to start doing great again but that has not happened since sometime. Yes, he's starting to play better than before but no way is he playing tht well.

Emre is a must for this game, at any cost. I will go nuts if I won't see Emre in the starting line, 30 min before the game starts. Look at our midfield against Porto. Just as I said, we just invited Porto to attack. C.Zanetti did well, so what ?? Should we play with 3/4 strikers if all of them are doing well ??

There should be a balance. I wouldn't had been saying all these, had Stankovic been doing good. I know Stankovic will definitely start this game, so I WANT us to play with just 1 DM for god sake.

And who should be our strikers ??

Milan defenders would be happy to see Vieri start this game. Adriano and Martins are must for this game. Adriano is not playing well lately, but he seems to be doing more and more better. He even passed on many occassions against Porto

If Vieri got the nod to keep on playing on and on, even if he wasn't doing well in the start of the season & if Stankovic is getting the same favour, then why not Adriano ??

Martins come in the place of Kily/Emre or Stankovic in HT and put Recoba in the place of Veron, Veron in RM and Stankovic or Kily/Emre(that doesn't leave) in left wing

I prefer Adriano-Martins for this game, current-level Vieri doesn't have a chance against Stam-Nesta, Martins (pace) does.

Vieri won't be there, so nobody from our team will be distributing smiles and hugging milan players.

Adriano's partner, on the other hand, should obviously be Maldini's Achilles heel, Martins. But 10 bucks Vieri will start. Not tha I have anything against him but he's Milan's prey everytime he play against them.

Martins is ofcourse a MUST...I dont care who gets benched but his speed will be their headache all day..Adriano even though not scoring will be more effective,I think,than Vieri..

I dont think Vieri will cause any threat for them...

Just keep Recoba and Vieri off the field and we might win this one.

First, let me tell you guys. What a load of crap!

Vieri 10 goals / goal scored in every 78th minute - Adriano 14 goals / goal scored in every 127th minute. Adriano has been as effective lately as Van Der Meyde has always been, but still...Adriano is a must and with Vieri there´s no chance. Pfff...

Vieri has been better (sometimes much better) than Adriano (since few months at least) and still only few wants to see him start. Surprise surprise. Maybe all you like to see is those uneffective "fancy" moves instead of goals. That was maybe a bit harsh to say tho, i admit. But still...how many of you dont think (honestly now, forget your love towards Adriano and hate towards Vieri) that Vieri-Martins duo is (and has been) more effective duo than Adriano-Martins?

I certainly hope that Vieri starts with Martins on sunday. If nothing else than to piss you off.

Tommi, I´m merely speaking of the Milan derbys. Vieri nor Recoba are famous for being productive in being efficient against Milan. Vieri laughing with Milan-players during games, and Recoba just sucking the hell in every game that Inter plays against Milan, is hardly a thing I´m encouraging.

Adriano has definately been lacking in the goals department for a while now but even I'm not so sure if he will actually score in this one. To be honest Milan are currently Italy's strongest side and Adriano hasn't been lucky in playing against them. But the obvious player who has has been Martins and he is a MUST start. To be honest I wouldn't mind benching Adriano to start Martins instead, but I'd still prefer Adriano then Vieri for this one since SPEED SPEED SPEED is the key to breaking Milan's defense. Vieri is INEFFECTIVE in this type of matchup and I can't remember the last time he was supereffective against Juve or Milan. Adriano will atleast pressure the backline with his speed.

It will still be exciting to see who lines up for this one, but all I hope is that after I comeback from the event I'm going to see that we win this game convincingly and use it as the platform to end our season in DOMINANCE. :star:

BTW is anyone concerned Mancini will opt for the Vieri-Adriano duo again? I was severely disappointed when Oba was left out of the starting lineup the last derby. If Bobo starts hopefully he acts serious, instead of joking around with his buddies on Bilan. Leave it till after the game when the entire world isn't watching. :frustrat:

Though I'm extremely well aware Vieri's record against Milan isn't very good, I must agree with you. Martins is a must and Vieri is in better form than Adriano, so the choice should be rather easy.

I have read dozen of times that Mancini is urged to be fair while selecting the squad (not favour for his so called friends). And now people (majority of them at least) want to see out form Adriano starting instead of decent form Vieri. There is a big contradiction, isn't there. Wouldn't it be favouring Adriano if Mancini selected the Brazilian over Vieri?

About midfield issue. Cambiasso and Cristiano Zanetti are must. We will face the team that will very likely be playing with five midfielders (so they have one player more than Inter in midfield), the team whose passing game is one of the best in the world. Considering the facts mentioned facts, they will very probably keep more ball possession than Inter, no matter what we do. That's why we need midfielders who fight, keep pressing, tackle and do dirty work. Cristiano Zanetti may not be the best midfielder of the squad but he's definitely the most suitable to partner Cambiasso in this game.

Tough ones, I will go with all the last ones, but this time, more than ever, it's very close, and i'm have my doubts.
I prefer Emre, but for this match we must secure the midfield, and I think Cristiano is better for that.

About Vieri/Adriano, maybe Vieri deserves the shot, but I feel that Adriano can wake-up anytime, imagine if it is against Milan.
Matrix/Miha.....Miha, free kicks (important weapon for this match), and he can take Crespo.
Kily/ Stan, don't know, if Vieri plays, Kily; if Adriano play,Stan.
