You guys are making a mistake thinking we played badly. We were just so good in the first half it made the second half look bad. They never looked like scoring. Nor did they ever control the game for a sustained period. Pragmatic performance overall and some great individual performances.

The defense did their bit. Barella was great albeit a little untidy. Lautaro put on a capitano masterclass. Hakan & Mkhi worked hard. Darmian his usual regal self. Gosens and Lukaku are becoming viable options.

We weren't so good in the first half, rather than Milan were awful. They were totally lost in Pioli's 3-5-2. He change to their usual formation in the second half, and we obviously struggled.

They had a whole week to rest, while our players played the coppa game on Tuesday vs a strong opponent in Atalanta. We won with a clean sheet both games which is something we criticize Inzaghi about that we don't manage often. In addition, Lukaku showed signs of football life, many things to be happy about overall.
