We played well until the subs. Not sufficient end-product but still, usual nice build up plays all over the place but we shot ourselves on the feet as soon as Milan starts being panic :palm:

To be honest I knew it had to end, would have like to get the "7th consecutive" but more importantly the 3 points. This game gives me de boer inter vibes, everyone talking about "oh they suck he's going to get fired" and look what happens.

8 points from a possible 15, more upset that if we had won in genoa snd monza (which we should have) then We'd still be in first. We needed the 3 points and couldn't come away with 1. 5 goals allowed. Serious refelection needed if we want to recreate success, because like this it's not good.

For me the subs were bad and we were done in by thuram/lautaro really not being there. Pavard's slip led up to their 2nd goal, really wondering about his future here.

Bastoni, dimarco, barella were great but can't do it all. What upsets me more is the fact that we have 8 out of a possible 15, we should have 12 bc monza/genoa should have been wins. Losing today was bound to happen, they wanted it more. We had a bad approach and a big let down in the final 3rd once more.

Asllani and Frattesi in midfield are our perfect way to lose this game.

Seems Inzaghi want throw this game to make Milan keep that coach ?

yup, they can't be on the pitch at the same time unless we're already leading by 3+ goals, it just doesn't work. both need babysitting by 2 of barella, hakan and mkhi. hope inzaghi realizes it sooner rather than later like that stupid acerbi lcb he kept doing

Yep.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Milan played with 2 midfielders. Of course, others helped but not once did we outnumbered them in midfield.
They were playing with a forward line of 4 essentially, but with Tammy or Morata (sometimes both) essentially caging Hakan and Pulisic tracking back, their number of bodies in the midfield was usually higher, even if they had less “midfielders”.

The other explanation of course being Mkhi and Frattesi being shit.

silver lining, we are only 2 points behind napoli  we aint winning shit with lautaro playing like this, need him to get his shit together

He needs rest. I challenge you to rest him when his subs are Taremi (jury's still out), Arna and fucking Correa

Well deserve for Milan.
They are more eager to get the win tonight.
We got the loss tonight eventually, hopefully we will come back more stronger after this.

Once again poor decision on substitutions, but we never played well tonight. Milan's intensity dropped at some point of first half, but we were still ass.

No aggressivity in opponent's half, very slow and lacking ideas on how to build up. Basically everything was sloppy.

I don't know if we should blame on busy schedule, but our team was just disgraceful tonight. Inzaghi needs to address the problem for upcoming matches, because we are far from convincing so far. One "great" display (vs City) isn't enough. We are lacking continuity, major time though.

Hab a Bad feeling about this Game all the time, because we‘ve been a bit too much on a high, but the moment Asllani and Frattesi were subbed at the same time I gave up every hope.

Please for the sake of our success stop playing the kid in this position. Also very awkward to take Barella out who has clearly been our best player.

We Need to figure out two things in our biggest Games: do we prefer Bisseck or Pavard and more important: is it time for Zielinski to take over from Mkhi? I personally would Go for both changes.

All in all tonight was a disapointment starting from the mindset, going on with the fans and ending with the Substitution choices.

I didn't expect much given our schedule, but for me the main problem is just finishing. It doesn't matter if it's Monza, Man City or Milan. We can't finish for fucking shit. We create chances over and over, and nothing to show for it.

Let's be honest though, we barely created anything tonight. A couple of semi-chances aren't enough for our standards.

One thing ive noticed already this season is our defence covering. It's already the third or fourth goal we concede goal from headers. Players simply not jump or do not even cover the players. It also happend against City. Almost reminds me off banter era with juan jesus and rannochia, we are going no where with mistakes like that. And second half was a disaster today, it's like they just don't care anymore that much.
At least CL they showed some effort, yeah there were mistakes but we were doing good against an difficult opponent. I have already said that, i don't even care that much after the second star, i would like too see us winning the CL again because it's the only missing trophy. But it won't be easy of course. Specialy if we should play like today...really really dissapointed.

Gabbia literally clears Dimarco sitter before the subs. "Never play well", right? Our goal was amazing.

You guys are exaggerating alot. Read Milan first half comments, they are happy with a draw.

Please watch again highlights till the 60' and tell me if you still dont see one-sided chances.

We created plenty. I think we're just used to creating 20 chances for 1 goal. But that's not a normal conversion ratio.

We played like shit and deserved to lose. Now let's move on. Let's be honest - we have been playing like shit since the beginning of the season. Something has to be changed.

Or we are just 3 points off the first place?
We are sixth behind Juventus & Napoli teams with new coaches and lost to a terrible Milan that only beat Venezia before us. And they have Fonseca as a coach. We play like we did in 2022/2023 and barely made top 4.

It is the time for Zielinski to replace Mkhi. We witnessed already in Manchester that Zielinski have the ability to carry the ball to the final third or whatever Mkhi's job. Hopefully tonight is the last time we saw Mkhi starting.
