Dimarco will most likely be available for this one, Inzaghi said.
In general, Carlos Augusto looked great in the match against Man City, I even thought several times - that this guy has improved his game since the previous season, so it's better that Dimarco has already recovered completely than to let him play a match with a less-than-perfect performance.

I hope so too. It can be hard to get your motivation levels up sometimes facing a team with only one win in their first five games this season. Clearly not a top opponent.

;)

We're either gonna break their spirit or we gonna revive their season. I know it's still too early, but our win could destroy them internally and complicate their situation, whether it's on coaching department or management.

This is such a perfect timing to take the proper step and get the job done. We're already above them, no debate on this, but humiliating them would be next level of pleasure. That would put so much pressure on their management, especially on Ibra, would love to break his ego and make him look like a peasant.

Let's go for the 10th consecutive win on head to head matches vs Milan.

I think a victory for us would be a 7th, which would be historic. No team has ever done that between the 2 teams. Of course adding to the overall number of wins and whatnot. I don't think it would be 10th consecutive though.

In my opinion their mental state and how their season is/goes shouldn't matter ( I don't think it does too much). Yes I want to win the derby, but We also need the 3 points. Between juve/napoli someone is going to drop points and we need the 3 points. For me, how I think of it, the 3pts is always more important, the satisfaction by beating them is the bonus.

I think they will definately be looking to cause issues and looking to spoil the party, but if we play like we should/did yesterday I'm confident of a positive result.

At this point in the season we need to shore up points whenever/wherever. Whether this game is with milan or empoli or como. I'd be just as nervous tbh bc again we need 3 points and right now we need to start stringing together 11+ game wins followed by an occasional tie or less occasional loss(they will happen). Back to winning etc etc

I'm not worried, we are a well oiled machine. Freak losses can happen, even the Inter of the banter era managed to win a big game here and there...but let's be serious. Except for Lautaro and Mkhitaryan, everybody looks ready.

Yes! After the draws initiated by @Kramerica Industries & @ADRossi, I was patiently waiting for @Besnik to open this thread. Thank you. Not even superstitious LOL, let's just keep a winning habit 🥇

I'm extremely confident going into this derby, even if Maignan will be back and they had 1 extra day to rest & prepare. The team will be fired up against them, there shouldn't be any risk of under-estimating them.

Fonseca must beat Inter to avoid Milan sack as new possible replacement emerges – report

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, not even a draw in the derby della Madonnina against Inter will be enough for Paulo Fonseca to save his job, while Igor Tudor is also being considered as a possible replacement.
Ibra keeps holding team meetings without Fonseca 🤭 and he's actively talking with managers: Maurizio Sarri, Edin Terzic and Thomas Tuchel are being considered as possible replacements, along with Igor Tudor.

Fonseca is basically sacked, so let's send them into full crysis mode.

Milan's defensive weaknesses have been prominent this season. Right back is a big issue, a lot of the goals they concede have come from their left hand side with Theo out of position and they cannot defend high balls into the box - so basically the whole defence is suspect. I thought a couple of the goals they conceded against Liverpool with no effort headers deep in the six-yard box were quite appalling for this level.

Without going cavalier for the sake of it and assuming full fitness for all the players, I'd like Dumfries and Di Marco as starting fullbacks (not least because Darmian and Carlos Augusto need resting) and Bisseck in ahead of Pavard for the aerial threat he can bring at attacking set pieces.

I know we’re ahead of them right now, but honestly, being too overconfident makes me a bit nervous about this match. A draw or loss could really mess with our mentality.

It's a derby bro, no worries about this. It will be our pleasure to set a new record.

Let's go for the 10th consecutive win on head to head matches vs Milan.
We're not there yet 😅 but I like the anticipation.

Recent history:
The Rossoneri last won a Derby in September 2022 under Stefano Pioli, in a game that also fell on Serie A matchday 5. The then-reigning champions defeated the Nerazzurri 3-2, with Rafa Leao’s brace and a goal from Olivier Giroud.

The Diavolo have since lost all six following head-to-heads played across three competitions. This miserable streak includes two defeats in the 2023 Champions League semifinals, a 5-1 thrashing in September 2023, and their latest 2-1 loss on 22 April 2024, the day that saw Inter crowned Italian champions with five games to spare.

So they are now basically trying to stop us from reaching a historic record:
This series of games allowed Inter to equal Milan’s longest streak of victories in a Derby della Madonnina. Still, the Nerazzurri are now presented with the chance to extend it to seven consecutive wins, which would mark a new record in the fixture’s history.
Extending their miserable start of the season by letting Inter win seven straight derbies for the first time in history would certainly be felt as a further humiliation for the cousins. 😏

- beelan are simply not on Inter's level. Everything points towards an Inter win. And that's where it get's tricky -
This is a derby, and anything can happen, even if Inter won the last 100 games against them. It's not a guarentee for a 101st win.

Regardless of the current form of the teams, the match will be unpredictable and could go either way. It's worth considering that our team had a very tough away game against City, which might affect the outcome. I’d really like to see Taremi from the start.
