Not sure how good Pavard's physical condition is, because wingback positon requires a lot stamina.

At the same time, I don't think it's smart rushing him into something like that. We already have a few options which I think are currently better solutions than playing him as RWB. Both Darmian and Cuadrado are there to fill the shoes if needed.

I was watching Portugal v. Luxemburg, Leao was doing very little. (Bruno Fernandes was very good)

I was also a bit nervous thinking our cousin has reached Man City level this year, so I checked other matches:

Pullisic scored a penalty against Uzbekistan (95th mins),
Okafor was hard benched for like 85 mins (Kosovo equalised after he got in)
Jovic, who wants to eat us alive, was hard benched for 85 mins.
All their French players faked injuries or something.
It turned out Lotus-Cheese was not even called up
Rejinder possibly did OK, was subbed in for the second half vs Ireland. Vs. Greece, he got in when it was already 3-0.
And Tomori was benched for Harry Macguire (this I dont understand)

What i think is that we for sure should be able to score at least 1 goal, probably even 2..Everything else would be dissapointing.
No doubt they have better starting players now and also more good options on the bench (okafor, chuchueze). But the defence remains a problem. Calabria sucks, theyre CBS are ok, but not solid. A part from 2-3 games, we always scored at least 2 goals against this defence. And the times we did not score 2 ore more it was thanks to Maignan, almost everytime. While in front they have better players now and could have more oppurtunities.
So my conclusion is: As long we don't fuck up we will not lose. Based on the last derbys, they need to score 3 goals minimum or hope that Maignan will save their ass to defend the result. Or that someone like De vrij (or De Vrij himself) will make them gifts. The one i trust less is Sommer. He did a miracle against Fiorentina i think, but a part from that nothing special and also seems to be insecure some times. Im worried because it's he's first real test. Not because i rate Milan as incredibile team, but compared to our last 3 games they are for sure better and could have more shots on goal. Monza Cagliari and Fiore were not scary, let's be honest. Our defenders blocked almost every chance they had and he did not have much to do.
