It might be passive yeah, especially if you consider international break, it makes sense. We're playing white here though so I don't see us settling for a draw in front of our fansI think both teams would theoretically be happy with a draw here so as to not lose momentum post international break.
This feels like it could be one for the ages, but I actually foresee quite a passive derby, bar any massive events in the first 15 mins.
I might actually miss it, which sucks. Will desperately be searching for a sports bar.
Bro If you're gonna go City on us you will be murdered. Calabria is your weakest link with Kalulu and you want him to be inverted fullB making runs into the middle Stones styleI think we were asking for trouble against Simone's system last season. That 2 v 5 midfield tactic was madness. This season with the 3 man mid and inverted fullbacks will even things up a bit although we will give up the wings to your wingbacks. Those switches of play to Dumfries and DiMarco are very annoying especially in transition. There's not much pace in the team but Inter uses what they have well and always look dangerous on the break. What Fiorentina did was absolutely suicidal. That painfully slow buildup was tailor-made for punishment on the break. Remains to be seen what Pioli's approach will be but I think we will have learnt some lessons this time around..
ofc, if we won some other games, we would still be champions. But that match was crucial. If we won that, we would go on 7 points difference. There would be much less pressure on us and big pressure on ACM. But they won, they "got wings" after that game, and the rest is history. We didn't lost Scudetto because of that derby defeat. Scudetto was lost because we neglected "less" important matches. We were way too naive back then. It's not like we are the best team out there, but at least it seems like there is an improvement in this area, and the group seems to approach games VERY carefully and focused.
They hype their own team, nobody is hyping them.Kicking their ass once again would be priceless after all the hype around their team.
They are definitely better than last year. RLC is very physical . Similar to what Kessie was. But currently their key player is Rjeinders, he's moving around alot and his passing has to be put on alert, but Inzaghi and his experienced assiastants already knows better how to tackle this guy. They hype their own team, nobody is hyping them.
They also have Chukwueze and Okafor on the bench, which I rate higher than Sanchez and Arnautović. It's speed that we might not be able to manage in the second half.Milanisti will hype their attack, I will say that our attack is way more better after what I've seen from Thuram now. Together with Lautaro these 2 will be a menace to anyone who is replacing Tomori.
This Louvumbo will be a star. He looks like amazing prospect with his speed, dribble and no fear attitude. We struggle against players who can run at defenders and drag them out of shape. Just look at how that Lovumbo shitter from Cagliari was terrorising us.
In addition to Leao, Milan have added Pulisic and some midfielders who can bring the ball forward and create momentum. They definitely have potential to do some damage on the counter, especially if we continue to play too fast and loose in transition ourselves and give the ball away needlessly. With Tomori out though (who I don't rate anyway) their defence is vulnerable.
