Well, if we don't play Dumfries , it's time to convert Bisseck into RWB and keep Darmian as his backup.

A bit of mixed feelings here. I have the idea that Inzaghi is putting him on the bench because he is not renewing but apparently he does not want to renew because he is on the bench.

You are not going to tell me that over a whole season Darmian is the better WB of the two.

I don’t think Inzaghi not playing Dumfries has anything to do with the contract. He simply trusts Darmian more.

He also built the line up without Dumfries last year due to his injury issues. Before that he was in it. Inzaghi doesn’t like to change his team once he’s found his preferred line up. Basically the only way to get in to it is the person in front of you getting injured or sold.

This was my point too. Sell and get a starter or renew and use him. Keeping him on the bench for Darmian, while trying to negotiate new contract for months, is the dumbest decision.
We really should have gotten Bellanova, when we had a chance. Spending those 7mln on Buchanan, who is used as a LWB, and looks like another Lazaro is questionable move as well.

Buchanan dreams of becoming the player Lazaro is.
